Pompompurin is my favorite Sanrio character ever, I love him more than anything in the world!! I don’t usually see much content that’s centered around him specifically so this is super nice!!

I find it to be silly and think because he has the cute :3 expression, it makes him look very mischievous, so I don't mind it!

My mom got super pissed at me because I bought my brother a pompompurin keychain but it had a butthole drawn and she was NOT happy about it 😂

Honestly I didn’t even notice it! I was just instantly drawn to pompom, but I find it extremely cute. I mean he’s literally a dog, why would it be weird, and on top of that he’s male!

Pompompurin is one of my favorite Sanrio characters, and I've always thought the butthole was funny and cute. I was really glad to see that the Pompompurin Build-A-Bear plush had an embroidered butthole; I'd have been legitimately disappointed if it wasn't there 🤣

So I work at Build a Bear, and even our stuff able plush Pompompurin has a butthole. Got to this video because I finally asked Google WHY

I think it’s funny and cute. I wasn’t really shocked when I first saw it maybe just a little bemused since it’s not something you see much in the west

My boyfriend and I literally love his character. I love that you made this video about why Pompomurin does this.

It cracks me up whenever I see it because it's so random next to other Sanrio characters.

Love him or hate him, he sure does have cake.

La verdad es que creo que el detalle en su trasero se toma como algo divertido para no tomarlo en serio sobre todo por el rostro y la pose que tiene pom pom purin. Debo decir que el diseñador del personaje dió en el clavo con esto, puede parecer tonto agregarle un asterisco a un personaje pero al final logro hacer que este personaje tenga una cosa que lo diferencie y lo haga destacar de los demás.

Every time my sister and I shop for Sanrio stuff and we find PomPom we always look for the butt 😂 “look the butthole! Hehehe” or sometimes it’s “aww where’s his butthole?!😢” lmao

I never saw it until I recently ran across the Uncanny Brands officially licensed mug (and warming pad) on the Michaels page! It's also at the official Sanrio and Uncanny Brands so it's a legit product. The art was insanely cute but the image on one side had him with fingers (on only one paw lol) doing a victory pose and the other image was him innocently showing off his asterisk buh hole. From there I found out it's just part of his design which honestly makes me love him even more and I came here for the history and lore. I assumed he was a chonky little artist because of the beret but I'm not mad he's just a silly good pudding doggo.

This is a really diffecult request but if you can please make a full detail video about sanrio characters that were created but never really managed to gain popularity and didnt manage to make it into the market shelf. There is a very adorible character that resambles a cupid but never managed to make it into the market. I couldn't find any informasion about it. Hope maybe you might be able to dig up somethung and make a video about it.

Pompompurin is definitely my favourite character! I have yellow walls with pompompurin stickers, and pompompurin posters, pompompurin bedding, with plushies and little paper cut outs all over my desk I even sellotaped a picture of him to my pc xD

I got him out of a blind box for plush keychains, he was one of the options. I noticed it right away and thought it was funny and unexpected, I was a bit confused but I did laugh out loud about it.
