In my opinion, maybe because she's from southeast asia, so the stylist tried to pull a unique/exotic image for Lisa? And she's also a model, if you watch the runaway, usually the models have to wear unusual clothes, and even Lisa's outfits aren't as pretty as others, I personally think she can pull off those outfits! Maybe because of she has that model vibe in her that makes everything looks great on her. Since Blackpink is a girl crush group, maybe the stylist tried her best to make each of the members look appealing and suit them well. As you can see Rosé mostly wears dresses, Jisoo mostly wears blouses (and covered her tummy), Jennie mostly wears like everything luxury and Lisa mostly wears somewhat unique outfits. I think the stylist tried to show the different sides of the members when they're at stage ^^ Edit: sorry for mistaking 'southeast' asia to 'south' asia. I'm not good with directions & smth, i still don't why this is a big deal, it's just a mistake. And I'm living in southeast asia country.

Hell she even said the stylist used to always give her the leftovers becoz according to them anything looked good on her… like that’s soo crazy!!! If you look at all the BP Closet accounts you’ll see she’s worn her share of the more expensive outfits. They give her bolder pieces because she’s tall and can pull them off. It’s the way you guys are judging her that is unfair and just downright insulting. When you guys say “Lisa wears ugly stuff” it’s embarrassing for her because it’s like you guys are saying that no matter the price tag, she can’t pull it off. She DOES pull it off and she LOOKS GOOD. for all those saying she wants to dress like that, each girl is dressed by a stylist. yes, the girls have preferences and can influence the stylists' choices (like Jennie wearing a lot of gucci/ expensive clothing) but they do not personally pick their stage outfits. so the trends in Lisa's stage outfits are because of her stylists :) now as for the reason she is dressed in "ugly clothes" I think it's just the image her company and stylists are trying to give her. I don't know anything for sure, obviously, but she definitely is the girl crush/ tom boy member in the group so she is usually dressed in shorts and a blouse. however, as a whole blackpink has a feminine concept so the stylists are probably doing their best to dress Lisa in dresses/skirts/blouses that are not super girly but still look put together and don't stand out from the other 3 girls. also style is a matter of opinion and there are plenty of people (like me) who love Lisa's clothing! hope this helped :)

When I first saw blackpink as a group, my eyes always looked at Lisa. As a frequent fashion week attendee, i am so stunned on how well the clothes fits her, it was like seeing a runway model performing. Until I saw articles and comments that she's got the ugliest clothes, like for real, no one can look good as her on those clothes. Like what the stylist said, she's a dream come true of all stylist, and now she's a fashion icon. The only glow up that matters.

This has also been my question since ages. WHY? Perhaps, because Lisa can pull off any unique and weird outfits better than the others. I guess their stylists experiments more on Lisa's look as reflected in her outfits as well as her hair. She changes hair color more often. This is somehow similar to 2ne1's Dara. Aside from that, I think that she has the best proportion as for a model in Blackpink. Models get to wear unusual outfit and try to make the outfit saleable giving an illusion that the dress is cool or glamorous. Anyways, Lisa always wears the outfits not the outfits overpowering her.
