63 of the 429 windows facing the baseball field at Camden Yards have shatterproof glass. How come, since nobody has ever hit the building on the fly. But in this video, I will tell you exactly how far a home run blast you will need to hit break the glass. Math.

the best thing about the warehouse is that all the men's rooms face the field and all the ladies rooms face howard street. Also knowing what the field looks like from the 4th floor of the warehouse it is so much further away than it looks.
A five video AND a tree video on the SAME DAY??? Am I in heaven?
So much Camden Yards material pleases this Orioles fan. You plan on going to any O's games this upcoming season?
Can we just appreciate the maths FPV has had to learn to make these videos 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Having lived in Maryland at the time Camden Yards was being built, I recall someone saying that they initially thought that the field was going to be closer than what the final field wound up being, hence the spending spree on making the windows shatterproof.
I went to Camden yards once. It is the coolest stadium in the DMV. It’s not even close.
I really love and enjoy your work bro. Thanks for putting out quality content.
Your videos just continue to get better and better. Keep up the great work!!

As someone from Baltimore I love these. Been to Camden many many times. I was at Cal Ripken's streak week. I remember seeing the Ken Griffy hit as a kid and he'll always been a monster in my eyes as a player. One of the best.
I like how you always give us the answers to the real questions being asked man! 😎
Being a Baltimore boy, it makes me happy that you've done 2 vids about the Yard. Great content overall.
Goat vids everytime
But Mickey Mantle? And was it still rising? And peeps, the "longest home runs" vid he refers to is entitled "Why Can't Anybody Hit the Warehouse at Camden Yards?"
Great video!!
I'd like to point out that glass with the shatterproof coating will still break, it's just that pieces won't go flying. You'd get a nice spiderweb crack, looks good on TV.
Great graphics my man
Part two to the last Camden Yard video
As an orioles fan, i love these vids on camden yards!
Five you knocked those graphics out of the park! Pun/old saying intended!
In all fairness, Glenallen Hill put one on top of the Wrigley rooftops. Had he been a left handed batter, where would that have hit? -launch angle 33.2 degrees, exit velocity 111.5 miles per hour, max height 118 feet, total distance 495 feet.
Hey great diagrams man
My hotel room for BronyCon 2019 was in that hotel there, and it faced the field. I got to watch free baseball while I was there, and they only won once against Toronto.
Leaving a comment showing some love for your drawing/animations
You should do a collaboration with Destin from Smarter Everyday. He has a supersonic baseball cannon that needs more airtime.
Another aspect of this equation I haven't yet seen factored in is one that the Orioles tour guides themselves mention: that supposedly, the Eutaw Street space between the warehouse and the stadium itself is narrow enough to create a wind tunnel effect, meaning that balls which clear the flag court have their momentum killed by the wind and die on Eutaw Street before they would ever reach the warehouse.
That warehouse makes Oriole Park look cool!
If Giancarlo Stanton was a lefty it’d be game over
Man i can't wait till the O's host the HR derby/ all-star game. Even though it doesn't count i would still love to see a HR to hit the warehouse.
I think the NL equivalent would be hitting an opposite field splash hit HR at Oracle Park in San Francisco, I would love to see you breakdown what it would take to accomplish that and how possible it would be
How did you think the lighting/ etc on the Manscaped add was fine? Step it up I love your videos.
I'm so early I don't even know what Camden Yard is

Then pull out, or deal with the consequences, lol.
A Sabremetrics dream to calculate distance, bat speed, velocity of ball and force of hit to break a window.
Those first three rows of windows may be out of reach of a batter, but they are within reach of fans throwing things from the street below, so the coating is probably a good idea for that factor alone.
At this point, we need an All Star Game back to Camden Yards cos WE ALL KNOW a few who could very well smack the warehouse
You should make a video about righties hitting it onto Eutaw Street. Also, Camden Yards is truly a beautiful Stadium.
Glad you got to use the degree on the Orioles -- 2024 World Series Champions
If only the building was at Coors Field which would be the best case since high elevation is ideal.
0:01 (stunning) 2:06 1904 - Warehouse goes in, _not a single window has been hit by a baseball yet_ 3:45 It's really far away, takes at least 460 to hit the bottom of it 5:00 Already really difficult to pull off for most MLB hitters 2nd and 3rd row will NEVER be hit EVER 6:45 TRY USING A CANNON Oh wait, that's not in the rules, and this isn't military base training Untouchable and probably Unbreakable (unless you really want to break the law, and get sued for big $)

fivepoints is obsess with that building. hurry Warehouse, file a restraining order against fivepoints hehehe
If only Jacob Paterson could be ransferred from the digital world to the real world. He can hit 666 ft. homeruns as well as line drives that are damn near missiles.
Five: "Why no one has been able to hit the building" Also Five: "Here's how to break a window on the building that can't even be hit"
omg five points thanks for the love again
You should do a video where you calculate speed and force needed to break the window
The warehouse is a great optical illusion. It looks so easy to hit, yet the only guy who did was one of the best players of all time, bats lefty, and he *barely* hit it during a glorified batting practice.
Can we get the exact distance of a trash can being kicked by the Giants GM?
Yeah, I'm the guy who would be like "It's not mathematically reasonable? I don't give a crap, put the freaking coating on to be extra super safe."
Here's hoping Adley becomes the first to hit the warehouse in an actual game. Is that ridiculous and weirdly specific? Probably. But I'm an Os fan, we don't have a lot going for us right now. Let me have this.
Another Camden yards vid?
I’ve seen a royals player hit the warehouse brick in BP once
Do You Remeber That One Time All NHL Teams Used Blur's Song 2, Joe Satriani's Crowd Chant, And Kernkraft 400?
How about a video figuring out the "easiest " shatterable home run window in all of mlb. (Not counting cars like in Fenway lot)
Still not ran out of time to do a Premier League stadium critique, or even a Champions League stadium critique
So basically, the windows are unhittable by even the greatest batters. But those damn T-Shirt Cannons on the other hand...
Next video, hard far does ball need travel hit and sit on top of Camden park.
now its time for a science angled channel with the resources to test this, I have a gut feeling that even if someone was roided up enough to smack hard enough to send a ball 690ft that either the bat or ball would come apart before enough energy had been transferred. Sluggers have already busted bats and balls when homering normal distances.
If only Mark McGwire was a lefty when he was in Oakland. Would've been a few interesting years.
Next video: Could Roy Hobbs have hit the stadium lights?
@smartereveryday has a cannon that could reach those windows with a baseball!
Still the best stadium in the league 32 years in. Except the uh… food options.
I'd think maybe Giancarlo Stanton could do it. He's hit some monster moonshots in his career.
Ah yes nothing says October like Orioles baseball!
It's not going to be shattered is it? The distance is far from home plate as referenced from your other video on Camden, Also there isn't someone who's freakishly strong without steroids so even if it does hit the window it wouldn't shatter
They’re winning the World Series next year against the Braves in game 7
Ken Griffey hit the warehouse in 1993
noice vid bro
Instead of falling glass, all you have to worry about is how your life went wrong for you to end up in Baltimore.
Best chance is a home run derby and since the orioles management has sufficiently pissed off MLB with the MASN deal that’s probably not happening anytime soon.
My lord and savior Giancarlo Stanton will probably shatter one

MLB uses wooden bats. In theory, could aluminum bats deliver the distance that wooden bats do not? Does Camden Yards host baseball games which use aluminum bats? What is the longest distance a home run has been hit using aluminum bats. This could be Part III of the saga that is the Shattering at Camden Yards.
They called him a madman….
Seems so easy in my brain, but my brain is stupid
could a Mark Fidrych happen again?
Wow
Even Though It Was A Weird Video " I Made It To The Next Video "
Now hear me out, would it be possible to hit a 4th row window if the stadium was on Mars?
But what IF the MLB allowed aluminum bats? I know that's a big if, but could someone shatter a window then?

Definitely the ball would travel farther
Could a quarterback hit the warehouse if the field was reconfigured for football?
Who could do this: Babe Ruth, Ted Williams, Mickey Mantle, Reggie Jackson, Big Papi.
Ken Griffy Jr. hit it...
Possible if they didn't put an end to the steroid era, think about someone bred through roids and a lifetime of abuse, they would have a chance of hitting and breaking windows. That was a great era to watch MLB.
Armando Benitez? Bruh.
well ... they weren't .. but after ken griffey jr. they had to replace all of them ... jk
