Why do we need 12 trucks?
Ғылым және технология
While James is on holiday, we join Paul to discuss how we utilise our haulage fleet.
Today, we visit Volvo to get the reaming trucks up to scratch before they are sold. We are also weighing up our options for some new trailers.

Great, informative video. Keep up the good work.
Hope these continue to come regularly. Very interesting learning about the business!
What a set up & the attention to detail is admiral.
Great video, well done
Looks like a proper company to work for 👍
All spot on with the vehicle spec and with your business plan
Looks like a great company, I’ve been following them in the farming press for several years
Great video, impressive set up.
What a well run operation just found your channel was a very interesting video hope to see more
Enjoyed
Impressive.
Try Weightman trailers at Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire.
Good idea getting full service warranty on trucks that way you know the running costs and don’t get big nasty bills dropping through letter box
Interesting, I dont think I've ever seen a truck with this small lift axle in Sweden, not even on a foregin truck.

I believe that would be due to weight limits, the weight limits in Sweden are higher so wouldn’t be practical to have the small axle, similarly foreign trucks coming across to Sweden will pass through the lower weight limits of Europe so are most likely to 4x2 units. These small axles actually aren’t all that common in the UK either, even in our section of the industry which is paid on payload.
Definitely stass tippers for me
You should try stas trailer

The old Colmans factory has been closed down, all the mustard is now handled by Condimentum which has a site on the outskirts of Norwich.

Take it you dont have to repair them then ???? Maybe you would change your mind lol
Not much will beat a volvo in my opinion...
Why not the Volvo fm/fmx instead of the fh? Thought they might been lighter
Nice presentation but what are those things on the roof? Surely not spot lamps?

I would be interested to know as well.

The lights on the roof are actually flashing beacons for when the trucks go into quarries/fertiliser plants or when loading at the side of the road, as well as these there are 4 flush mount beacons hidden in the front grilles.
Just Love?
Or in English lorries
So the trucks are leased? any limit on the mileage?

Not leased, we buy them and have maintenance agreements on 110,000km per year

Try driving a mirror cam with prescription glasses on, Dangerous!! Mirror cam, why?
Far far too much spying on drivers these days.
I take it that there isn't much more weight to be saved by choosing the new FM Globetrotters over the FHs you have bought??????

There is a slight saving in the weight however the drivers prefer the comfort and the handling dynamics of the FH500s
