I got an adventure bike and it has been an adventure. Soon after I bought it. I was stopped at traffic light going to the gas station to fill the bike up. I stalled it out and the battery being half dead wouldn't turn it over. So pushed it to gas station. Got gas, used the bathroom and got it jump started. Pulled out into turn lane. The light turned red quickly and I grabbed braked. Pulled a stoppie at the light. Both headlight bulbs were blown. Made it almost all the way home. Had to get wife to drive in front of me in truck for headlights. They say the first ride is the best.

Wonderful!!! And the compatriots are as complimentary as those wonderful machines. I learned my memory plays back small portions of excellent rides from my time in California USA and it's beautiful coastline. The sounds, weather, the café and gentlemanly sense of road safety. All these stored away in my mind's eye were unlocked by your video. Thanks!!

I like the way you pass vs your friends. Passing on blind curves is just out for me now. I have 16 screws two plates and only one kidney now after a very serious crash. I still ride though.

victor …there is a very interesting mystique about a man who dawns a hounds tooth jacket with woven gloves, and has such passion for a ride like this…and i, like you, have sought to answer the same question of why we love motorcycles…perhaps it’s fair to say that we like motorcycles, but truly love certain ones…i compare this to my experience in owning fine musical instruments…mainly pianos and drums… the rich sound, feel of quality to the touch, with no buzzing or rattling makes hours pass in seconds… i also love bicycles, and ride over 200 miles a week…it becomes more apparent to me on this more simple 2 wheeled machine…it is certainly the feel, sound of precision, but also the excitement of traveling through a space, on an open platform, and at a speed that exceeds the normal pedestrian pace by far…i guess our brains like the input when we can handle the output…and, we love to find the place where that stops happening… i share your passion for the machine, and fairly certain i’d love yours… cheers to you brother!

great hearing from you !…indeed, passion is the driving force behind most of the most incredible things in the world…speaking of this subject, i thought about you while revisiting a video about “Curtiss” motorcycles, formerly known as “Confederate”….I’m probably a long way from being sold on the electric bike idea, but I know fairly much about the guy behind the company, Matt Chambers…I met and got to know him years ago when I lived in Baton Rouge, La….He was still in law school at the time, but became a very successful plaintiff lawyer…he had one of the first super crotch rockets id ever seen at the time when few did…he won a few large class action cases, which earned him huge $$…he left his incredible practice to build his own motorcycles…it became apparent to me that he was determined to produce the best of something that had never been done before…you can see that his designs have influenced the mega moto companies in many ways… your channel evokes the “passion” behind the machines, and with this guy there is no shortage of it…i think if you take time to learn more about him, you’ll be very impressed as I am…and if anyone can make an electric motorcycle exciting, i think he’s the guy…i told him in comment section that if he can capture the sound of precision , he can take this to a new level… the other guy to watch is a friend of his, and designed many of the bikes…JT nesbitt…amazing designer and engineer… cheers brother!

Lol Yes, I also don't usually overtake with continuous/solid lines. But I must clarify that the perspective from which you see some curves in this video, seems worse than it actually is. If these overtakes were done in a car, it would be crazy. But on a motorcycle it is relatively acceptable. :) Thank you my friend for your support. I am glad you understand. :) Cheers

@seyasobaha554 Hi. Thanks for asking. On Saturday I went to DGR, and discovered that there is a good motorcycle builder close to where I live. He doesn't have as many capabilities as Leonel, particularly when working with sheet metal, which makes it difficult to complete the project's side covers. But I already know how to solve this problem. I'm going to design the side covers in 3 dimensions, and try to print them on a 3D printer. :) I don't know if it will work, but I'll try. @Area-dj2hv I think the most suitable style of motorcycle for you would be a Scrambler project. When it comes to the motorcycle model, it all depends on the amount you want to spend. Maybe a classic BMW R80, or a Yamaha XS 650. But this is part of the project, that is, you have to look online, and try to see the type of motorcycle that allows you to raise the seat to your height, and preferably one that has a large gas tank, so that the entire project be aesthetically proportioned. :) Good luck. @agostinhofroes4169 Loool. Boa pergunta. A luz em questão é programável para piscar quando o motor chega ao redline. Mas como nunca configurei esta luz, ela acende/pisca sempre que ultrapasso as 3 mil rpm, sendo esta a configuração que veio de fábrica. :) Um abraço

What was he saying about black smoke? was it coming from one of the bikes?

@RogerBankerFishmiser Good question. But he was referring to the previous moment, that unfortunately I didn't record on the go pro camera. The black smoke came from my honda CX. The engine already has around 50 thousand km, and naturally, it is consuming some oil. The black smoke is due to oil residues that are trapped inside the exhaust pipes, and which are normally released after very strong acceleration. :) Cheers.
