Madinah munawwarah is such a beautiful place. I hope to live in madinah munawwarah although it is almost impossible :(

A snippet of feelings going to madinah By tasneem rawat ally This experience so far has been one which opens your eyes to the broader sense of life. There is no such thing as having pride, egos mean nothing too and status is a mere drop of water in the ocean. When you come here you find that all the little things we focus on back home is really nothing. The soul is just created for one purpose only and that is to serve Allah. Every step leading towards the journey is a difficult one and every step when you are here is a much more difficult one. We have to learn patience from the Auliyah and humility from our Nabi because without those two sentiments, our time on this earth is not a meaningful one. Allah teaches us in the quran, La inshakar tum la azeedannakum. If you make shukr I will increase my nimats upon you. This golden lesson makes up miles of breaths we must learn to accept or else our purpose on this earth will always be difficult. People come from all over the world to make ibadah and in the process of seeking a spiritual connection, many hurdles have to be faced but I watched with awe as they so calmly walk under the canopy of simplicity yearning for a cause which simplifies their lives even more. It's more beautiful to be endowed in this placid existence of the grandeur of our Nabi and while we can get lost in the beauty surrounding our Nabi, we must take comfort in the true essence of the dwelling of our Nabi. Don't let the palatial splendour fool you into thinking this is heavenly, our Nabi really is the only reason we come seeking solace and love. I make dua that Allah affords us all the wisdom to understand and the wealth to visit our Nabi many times over and each time we come, we must become even more humble. Insha'Allah..

please climb the prohets moutain where quran was revealed and wait for the azaan . the azaan travels up the moutain and shakes your soul I've never experienced anything like this and if you haven't you must. it's like one hundred azaans going off at the same time . peace be with you.
