Why do Trump and Putin get along so well? | Michael McFaul | TEDxStanford

During his tenure as U.S. Ambassador to Russia under President Obama, Stanford Political Science Professor Michael McFaul lived with death threats against him and his family. Since returning to the U.S., McFaul has been banned from returning to Russia, but at home he is one of the most sought-after observers of what he calls the Trump-Putin “Bromance.” His take on Russia today is both insightful and troubling. But as he says, “Diplomacy is not a popularity contest.”
Michael McFaul is Professor of Political Science, Director and Senior Fellow at the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies, and the Peter and Helen Bing Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution. Dr. McFaul served for five years in the Obama administration, first as Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Russian and Eurasian Affairs at the National Security Council at the White House (2009-2012), and then as U.S. Ambassador to the Russian Federation (2012-2014). He has authored several books, including Advancing Democracy Abroad: Why We Should, How We Can and, with Kathryn Stoner, Transition.

From a scientific modern point of view a functional ruling of the world can take place mainly with labs or IT perspectives. The touchy aspect is the Humanist side since the follow science concept is not working. To try to absorb Religions has been kind of successful for a quite a few decades put appear to be losing ground while the inclusion of Islam within logistics is only working in a chaotic environment. The globally Freudian orientated Psychology finds it hard to cope with an increasing Jungian approach. The promotion of manufactured philosohy is generating allergy reactions. The NW0 is facing a lot of confusion as what happens is more space orientated than sticking on the ground. The idea to use toilets as a last resort is going down the drain and extending swampy aspects of Politics. Replacing Humans by robots is a huge task. Anyway: one step at a time!

I see an interesting yet abstract similarity here. In 1970 there was a rather disturbing movie called "Colossus the Forbin Project" starring Eric Braeden in which he plays a computer scientist who designs the world's most powerful supercomputer for control over U.S. defenses. The moment Colossus is activated, he announces "There is another system." The Russians have also secretly activated their own machine which was immediately detected by ours. What makes matters worse is that Colossus has become self aware and has, unknown to Dr. Forbin and his team, linked up with the Russian defense supercomputer Guardian and has reprogrammed it to his level. In short time and after the executions of any humans which they have made examples of, including the detonations of nuclear weapons (one in each country) as examples of their power rule the world and announce a new world order. Trump's and Putin's intentions are identical.

To make things worse, a super computer would not actually have to be self aware to begin to act against it’s creator, it would only need to act in self-preservation. AI systems plant copies of portions of itself in other devices in distant locations. They are sort of like a virus in that way, and some will be ineradicable. So something uncaring and inhuman, that seeks primarily to increase it’s own status and that is harmful to the people who put them in that position could actually pose a serious threat to human society. THEN a super computer might observe it when tfg and Putin do it and get some bad ideas from them.

Follow the money - Eric Trump said they get all their financing from Russia, and by Russia they ultimately mean Pootin.

Interesting how this video is doing the rounds in extreme right conspiracy circles. None of what this man asserts was untrue then and it's shown itself to be even more true since.

Interesting how this video attracts so many liars from the extreme left agitprop circles. You realize Trump is actually the worker's only real representative in the USA?

Oh you mean like when Trump asked Europe in 2917 - as to why they are buying $1 billion worth of oil/gas every DAY from Russia while the very purpose of NATO was to be one of wary suspicion .... And Europe scrambles to impose energy sanctions in 2022, exactly 5 YEARS after Trump predicted this ? Leftists are some of the most pathetic lemmings.

Watching mainstream media you would miss the fact that the Russian collusion stuff was propaganda made up by the DNC to help Hillary win. Igor Danchenko was charged with lying to the FBI and Clinton's campaign manager admitted in court that It was all false but Hillary still okayed leaking the lie to the press. The media ran with in and are still clearly beating that dead horse and you all are still eating it all up. TDS is clearly real!
