Spamming videos over and over again is a very lazy way to get views and subscribers, not to mention it goes against KZread's community guidelines. From now on, I'll dedicate myself to report those videos and channels if I see one while scrolling through KZread Shorts. I'm afraid to find out what KZread Shorts are gonna be like if stuff like this kept on happening.

This is mostly to show how much effort they puts in on their KZread channels. The more videos, the more elaborate they look. They also do that for views. If there's 3000 videos, and each of them gets 100 views, they will get approximately 300,000 views in total. It's a great way to increase the total views just so the sub count doesn't overcome the view count, because it looks sus when it does.

So this shows that the KZread algorithm is random when it comes the time to show your short videos... so no matter if you are posting junk or good stuff, its just a matter of the algoright by chance showing your content to a lot of viewers or not...

I don't know why it's taking KZread team so long to come up with a program that detects similarities like video length, sounds or publishing frequency and if multiple videos get like 80-90% matching, they either get suspended or banned

I think it would be similar to tiktok's system for giving every video a type of ID, even if it's re-uploaded by someone else, the sound ends up matching, and the pixel hue and saturation and lighting levels will all match the same on some sort of frame by frame analyzer like a video fingerprint, along with possible metadata being analyzed if uploaded from one device.

What's happening to those legends with verified accounts? Why are they becoming spammers? A documentary please

How does KZread allow this spam in the first place? Don’t they have something to detect whether two videos uploaded are completely identical? Or is there some kind of loophole when it comes to shorts?

More people need to talk about this

I've noticed this a lot and nearly every time it's also stolen content. Apart from the mass uploading of the same content there's a lot of soft porn amongst the KZread shorts. It's as if the AI bots designed to seek and destroy offending content and duplicates is totally turned off with shorts.

Same with music channels there are bunch of those who upload more than 2 videos a day

I've seen them lately and I need Timeworks to review them

I honestly am ashamed of what KZread has become, between the comment bots on KZread shorts, the “iTS nOT AmISTaKs iTs A mAsTerPeiCe”, the reuploaded/stolen content getting millions of likes, these stupid “hi iT wIllBe fUn iF yOu SuBscRibeMy cHanNel” videos that get uploaded thousands of times across thousands of channels, the EXTREMELY inappropriate comment bots on Flamingo’s videos, the removal of so many great features, or overall the whole corporate feel of Google in general. I’m starting to feel more frustration than entertained/learning when I watch KZread anymore. I wish we could just go back to silly videos of cats, 240p pointless vlogs, and when KZread actually felt like a community rather than a corporate waste. I know I’ve been talking about KZread’s users causing these issues mostly, but KZread isn’t doing anything either. Especially about bots. Bots are so freaking annoying. You wanna know why KZread does nothing about em? Because they make up over 50% of watch time, and KZread is greedy. Anyways, I know this will probly reach like two people and I’m doing something pointless, but I just want to put this out there.

I've been wondering about this! A while ago I was recommended some videos, always the same, about TNT in Minecraft that made everything in a big radius become rainbow colored, and supposedly it is LGBTQ TNT. Pretty interesting. I checked a few of these channels out, some are still there. Lots and lots of views and subs have disappeared though. One went from 11.5k down to 32.

The best part is my browser filters would show the channel as blank since it blocks all shorts.

Just because you earn monitization does not mean that you should add 2 midroll ads every 2 minutes

i’ve reported these guys so many times, my keyboard autofills the message i send for when it asks for more details.

After being in the shorts i have reported 56 spammers in just 1hour some upload every second some every hour and so on

What I think the moderators should do: they could make a system that makes it so you cannot upload the same file if that file was already posted. That way the spam video count will go down by a lot, though there still will be those videos around but you will see them less frequently.

Good idea, but it will not work. It would be way to complicated to setup a system to monitor every single video and catalog every detail of it. But say they did. Then a bot could be made to automatically add, say a different colored shape to each video before upload. Thus easily fooling youturd's upload bot. The spam bot could also add or repeat frames/seconds. We already see this being used by fools uploading movies by randomly zooming in and out of the film and adjust the audio. With shorts, it's just a 1000x easier.

It's beyond annoying to see these. Especially when it comes down to it you're randomly thrown these shorts to watch, feeding these people views when you have no intention of watching them. Some people I have seen fall into the trap of thinking it's genuine content, but it only causes more harm honestly. That's just my take on it.

Some of these spam videos upload different types then repeat and repeat in the exact same order

My friend does this same thing on his channel lol, his is the same minecraft “pause at the right time” tik tok where theres a split second where 2 skins overlap

92 chunks, I counted 234 dungeons, as well as 108 mineshaft chests. This means that dungeons have a 1.6% chance of generating in each chunk and mineshaft chests have a probability of around 0.74% of doing so. Combining these, we get the probability of around 0.012% (or 1 in 8425) of a dungeon and a mineshaft chest spawning in the same chunk. Dungeons spawn in different sizes with different amount of chests inside them (0-2). All dungeon sizes (5x5, 5x7, 7x7) are equally likely, but the average amount of chests within a dungeon can't be calculated that easily. After manually checking around 50 dungeons myself, I concluded that about half of all dungeons contain two chests within them. Note that for a chest to generate within a dungeon, it needs to be placed next to exactly one solid block (disregarding the mob spawner). This means that double chests can only spawn vertically to the wall, or along the wall if there is an opening right where the chest is. There are around 2*((n-2)+(m-2))-1 ways for a double chest to be generated vertical to the wall, for every nxm sized dungeon. Considering a dungeon has 2 openings on average, this gives around 3 more possible arrangements for double chests to spawn. (Normally you get more openings the bigger the room is). For each nxm sized dungeon, there exist around 2*((n-2)+(m-2))-1 ways for the first chest to be placed. The amount of different possibilities for the second to be placed is highly dependent on the placement of the first chest and the openings, so we can only make assumptions, that there is about 10 ways for 5x5, 13 for 5x7 and 16 for 7x7. (You can draw the possible placements on paper regarding different opening positions and this is the approximation i came up with.) Using these numbers we get the following probabilities of a double chest generating: - 5x5: (2*(3+3)-1+3)/((2*(3+3)-1)*10) = 14/110 = 0.127 = around 1 in 8. - 5x7: (2*(3+5)-1+3)/((2*(3+5)-1)*13)= 18/195 = 0.092 = around 1 in 11. - 7x7: (2*(5+5)-1+3)/(2*(5+5)-1)*16) = 22/304 = 0.076 = around 1 in 14. Since all of these dungeon sizes are equally likely, we get a total probability of 0.097 for double chest accuring in a double chest room or a probability of 0.047 (about 1 in 21) of a double chest accuring in any dungeon. We now already have all calculations needed to calculate the probability of a dungeon double chest and a mineshaft chest being in the same chunk. Now we just need to account for the placement of these chests with respect to each other. For this I assumed that dungeons/mineshafts would generate around Y=10-60, therefore there are exactly 50*16^2 = 12'800 possible blocks where the chests could spawn at. The dungeon chest has exactly 6 adjacent blocks, so the probability of the mineshaft chest being one of those 6 is about 6/12'800, or 1 in 2133. Combining all the different probabilities we calculated, we obtain a pretty good estimate of around 1/8425 * 1/21 * 1/2133 = 1/369'396'908 for a natural triple chest accuring in every chunk. This means that there is approximatly one triple chest in every 300'000x300'000 block area, or about 40'000 naturally generated triple chests in each minecraft world. (Note that I used rounded fractions so it would be easier to read) EDIT: At first this seemed much too common to be true, since 40'000 such triple chests within every minecraft world seems like a lot to barely happen. But this might not seem that weird considering that you'll need to check 5-6 million dungeons on average, before finding one with a triple chest. It's not actually that surprising that there has only been one natural triple chest found on 2b2t so far. There's three different calculations we need to make, in order to get a good approximation of the total probability of such an event accuring, these are: 1.) The probability of a dungeon and a mineshaft chest spawning in the same chunk 2.) The probability of a dungeon containing a double chest 3.) The probability of the mineshaft chest to be right next to the dungeon double chest (y-Level needs to match as well) Some of these are practically impossible to calculate, since Minecraft generates dungeons/mineshafts, as well as chests within dungeons in a very unpredictable way. That's why I had to do some sampling on chunkbase to obtain some good estimations. After doing sampling of around 14'592 chunks, I counted 234 dungeons, as well as 108 mineshaft chests. This means that dungeons have a 1.6% chance of generating in each chunk and mineshaft chests have a probability of around 0.74% of doing so. Combining these, we get the probability of around 0.012% (or 1 in 8425) of a dungeon and a mineshaft chest spawning in the same chunk. Dungeons spawn in different sizes with different amount of chests inside them (0-2). All dungeon sizes (5x5, 5x7, 7x7) are equally likely, but the average amount of chests within a dungeon can't be calculated that easily. After manually checking around 50 dungeons myself, I concluded that about half of all dungeons contain two chests within them. Note that for a chest to generate within a dungeon, it needs to be placed next to exactly one solid block (disregarding the mob spawner). This means that double chests can only spawn vertically to the wall, or along the wall if there is an opening right where the chest is. There are around 2*((n-2)+(m-2))-1 ways for a double chest to be generated vertical to the wall, for every nxm sized dungeon. Considering a dungeon has 2 openings on average, this gives around 3 more possible arrangements for double chests to spawn. (Normally you get more openings the bigger the room is). For each nxm sized dungeon, there exist around 2*((n-2)+(m-2))-1 ways for the first chest to be placed. The amount of different possibilities for the second to be placed is highly dependent on the placement of the first chest and the openings, so we can only make assumptions, that there is about 10 ways for 5x5, 13 for 5x7 and 16 for 7x7. (You can draw the possible placements on paper regarding different opening positions and this is the approximation i came up with.) Honestly the worst are those bots that upload a bunch of family guy episodes on youtube shorts, im surprised it hasn't been monetized yet Even worse are those ads that are about stuff like blenders, pens, slushy cups, reusable water balloons, etc. No matter how much you press dont recommend channel they still appear, it's so annoying A good way to stop it getting so much views (this part should definitely be spread and known) is that you hold 1 finger down on the screen and scroll and if theres one of those videos keep scrolling so it doesnt get the views

I’ve seen why to many of these channels, and almost saw 130 of them in all in a week. I’ve been Reporting for spam and “don’t recommend this channel” trillions of times. It’s just really annoying…

Apparently not, because I'm looking at a channel on my phone right now that has the same short video about a zillion times with thousands of views for most of them. Fortunately, once you know what to look for you can tell youtube not to show that channel any more. Unfortunately, there seem to be a ton of them because I've found four in the last 5 minutes

In the last month I thought KZread was showing me the same shorts every day... now I'm noticing even bigger KZread channels are doing the same.... for 2 weeks I've seen the same shorts over and over... looks like shorts monetisation has screwed the pooch...
