I think Marshal would sleep on the sofa. But as someone else in the comments mentioned, the smug squirrel might be drinking too much coffee to fall asleep.

You can’t lay down on the sofa though if he used the sofa then he would be sleeping sitting up and not laying down

Well not on happy home paradise that's not the case if you. Have roommates and the other doesn't want a bed doesn't even clap for it but the one getting the roommate does and he even got do happy when I showed him a partition that he wanted in front of his double bed that is sus my switch needed charged so I will finish the dirty deed later

Island 1: Double: Cookie (modified from orginal, but same bed as normal), Cherry (who also has a beach towel that works as a bed) Single: Stu (also modified), Skye, Melba, Rudy, Fauna, Erik. No bed: Gabi, Audie So 11 slots for 10 people. Though I have 3 beds at my house, all doubles (Cute, Rattan, Patchwork). Island 2: Besides the Dogs, here is the info Double: Apollo Rosie: Single No bed: Bones, Ankha, Marshal, Raymond, Kiki, Roald only 6 slots for 10 characters? uh-oh! (have a rattan, Luna's, and camping cot at house, though still need more - guess I'll sleep in the Imperial bed outside)

Maybe Marshall sleeps in the cup of hozcocoa

Del and Sprocket have no bed, while Broffina and June have a double. So at least you are covered, though, since Sprocket is more of a robot, might have one empty slot.

I have a double bed but I don't do that it's just because if we roll around we don't want to end up on the floor because one minute you roll around they're probably roll around sleepers more like you moving and if you have a singular bed you're either going to hit the wall or fall off the bed and bust your butt so if you have a double bed you have a chance to hit the wall but if you roll over a little bit you won't get hurt

I’m only a few seconds in but maybe the villagers without beds go to sleep in houses with double beds- Or maybe it’s just a design choice
