What do you think is the reason behind sweating? Why do some people sweat more? Sweating or perspiration is our body’s natural cooling mechanism by which our body temperature is regulated.
When we exercise or eat spicy food or when we are nervous, we sweat. Other reasons for sweat can be hormonal shifts, stress, or heat, Because of all this, our internal body temperature rises which results in sweating which in turn causes the transfer of our body heat into the atmosphere due to evaporation of moisture. There are around 2 - 4 million sweat glands spread all over human skin. Sweat glands are of two types: Eccrine and Apocrine. Eccrine glands are mostly concentrated on the palms, soles, forehead, and armpit, but cover your entire body. Apocrine glands are found in the armpits and groin. excessive sweating is called hyperhidrosis. There are two basic types of it, Primary Focal Hyperhidrosis and Secondary Generalized Hyperhidrosis. Primary Focal Hyperhidrosis appears in early adulthood in which individual sweats more in one or a few specific areas like feet, hands, face, or armpits. This is a medical condition and it’s genetic too. Scientists are still looking for what causes this disorder.
On the other hand, Secondary Generalized Hyperhidrosis affects the entire body. This type of excessive sweating is caused by another medical condition or is a side effect of a medication. That’s why it’s called secondary - it’s secondary to a medical condition. But do you know there are people who do not sweat at all? This sounds like a boon, but is it? Some people aren't able to sweat typically because their sweat glands are no longer functioning properly. This condition is known as hypohidrosis or anhidrosis.

I only sweat on my face, especially at work since there is so much movement, but I sweat like a shit ton on my face, its like droplets. My armpits dont even sweat as much as my face. My collar of my shirt gets moist from the sweat running down the back my ears to my neck all from my head. Its so annoying especially in public. Ill just start sweating while waiting in line, then I feel like people are just staring, so I sweat even worse.

Yeah same ever since i was a child i would break a sweat more easily and heavily than anyone else who would not even sweat after exercise much. Idk why im like this even in heat in few mins i would sweat in the sun but most people are dry and no sign of sweating. And its only in heat and exercise i sweat like that so i dont have hydrochosis as i dont sweat in normal conditions but its doesnt seem normal to me as my face is the face to start sweating heavily.

I wasn't aware of my body condition till I went to secondary school. After PE lesson, my classmate said I was so smelly, I felt upset and couldn't get rid of the comment, that's when I started noticing the problem. I'm suffering from hyperhydrosis, I sweat every time after walking, even when I am just simply standing, no matter at summer or winter. This is causing me embarrassment in almost all circumstances, when on public transport, I'm always the only one wiping sweat, when arrived to school, I'm always the only one sitting with sweaty body. Not only is this making me physically uncomfortable, but also mentally. The smell comes along with the large amount of sweat is extremely stinky, making me and people nearby feeling unpleasant. This is also the reason why I'm introverted, I wouldn't go outdoor except it's necessary, having only a little experience of social activities, I'm not able to live the life I want.

Right now I"m an professional software tech guy, whenever I found my senior to congratulate I can't even shake my hands due to this sweat. Ah yes it's true, i sweat on my forehead , legs ,.. all lets consider 😢 My keyboard malfunction sometimes due to my sweat. 😅 Thanks to my AC it saves me whenever I do my presentation. No doctor have a proper solution guess I had live and love withit.
