That Rooster Fight was spectacular. The guitar music on the second confrontation was perfect. They were so beautiful all puffed up and so focused like that. Manny is nearly twice the size of Johnny Cash so that does not seem exactly fair, but J.C. came out good in the end. So good to see the family. I had a moment of deja vu with Isabelle crying in her pink suit in the back of the 4X4. No explanation for that. Have a great end of the week to yall.

Roos will be roos! I love my boy but he is an absolute brute. We call him Leonidas like from the movie 300.. he attacked my young niece once and she had to get stitches, it was the first time ever he'd attacked a human! Normally he's all over defending against hawks and stray dogs here in Missouri, and if not for that we would have culled him. Hope you and your family stayed safe during these heavy rains and tornado watches!

I discovered it quite by accident trying to make a drum and as I was drumming on it to get the right sound I was looking for my chicken's came right over.

I think the fighting was more a show as there was alot of jumping, but I think the whote one seemed to know more stratagies than the black. I wonder if they would have to have a rope or chain tied to a cinder block to keep it from floating too far towards shore. That would be lame. They do that with rafts on lakes and rivers so they don't float away too far lol

Love your videos! I noticed Manny’s spurs are super long. You should look into trimming them, it‘ll affect his walking soon and he can hurt the chickens when mating. I’ve had roosters cut a huge hole on the chickens back with the Spurs. Just a thought. 😄

Our RIR rooster once sliced a huge cut down the side of one of our hens with his spur. I definitely second trimming or even removing the spurs altogether for the sake of the hens.

Pure chicken cemani, black without any other color than black, even the bones, meat and blood are black, the price is above 2000 dollars if you buy directly in Indonesia. However, for those who are not pure breeds of cemani chicken, the price will fall greatly, even a little more expensive than ordinary chickens, around 10-100 dollars, depending on the color

I like your reaction to a rooster fight. Don’t try to split them up. Two or three roosters are perfectly adequate for a large flock and they will fight. It’s the natural way that they find their place in the pecking order (no pun intended). Cock fighting is definitely animal abuse but this isn’t. It is entertaining and I see nothing wrong with watching two roosters duke it out by their own free will 👍

If it’s constant, I’d separate before one really injures the other. If not, I completely agree, nothing wrong with letting them duke it out as long as it doesn’t get out of hand.

@@my4lilrugrats well fights between free range chickens don't last that long because they do not have the endurance that nakedheel / bladed gamefowl have,so pretty much letting them duke it out with observation is the safest way possible. The reason why you should not seperate them in the middle of fighting is that they will fight the next day you free them because the alpha rooster of the flock has not been decided yet and fighting continuous for 2 days will put too much strain on a chicken no matter the breed and it can sometimes cause them their life.what he did was very safe and fantastic to watch
