There are definitely some open minded attractive beautiful single women there. So, yeah this tends to happen at these kinds of event. Sure, your source has truth to it.
So what if they are actually only after a way out of that hellhole? Just use your gaijin status to your advantage. And if they don't actually like you for who you are? That sounds like a 'you' problem.

I agree with you on this. If someone doesn’t like how another person is they should walk away instead of complaining to save time & live a happy life. The point of the video is to tell people what to expect if they’re looking to make friends or date in Japan. The reason is I don’t see other videos doing so. Personally, I believe there is somebody for everyone in the world of dating if both parties are open minded to it :)

If comments were allowed on dating profiles I’d love to see you comment that to the foreigners stating what they don’t want. That way an interesting discussion would get started. Thank you for explaining your thoughts :)
The "Passport Bros" are men who have chosen to seek out foreign women, typically from other countries, for relationships. They believe that western women have been influenced by cultural and societal pressures to behave in a certain way, and that by seeking out foreign women, they can find a more authentic, fulfilling, and harmonious relationship.
