Depression and anxiety of what? Cling to god, read his word, listen to uplifting praise and worship songs. Do a hobby that makes you happy. Focus on the good and positives in life. Try not to focus on negative influences around you. If something specific is giving you anxiety and you can turn away from it, remove that thing from your life. That could be a person , a thing, a substance ... remove negative influences and try to stay positive. God is for you, always with you, you are loved, blessed, forgiven, redeemed. Keep your head up. 😊

Please pray for the Philippines. A LOT of people died and lost their homes because of typhoon Ulysses. PRAY FOR THE PHILIPPINES.

@@zackirungu2282 your not alone on that road. Im anothet God is healing, delivering and working on. I been praying for complete revelation on Gods love for and towards me . His word says perfect love cast out ALL fear. I believe as we receive the revelation and understanding deep with in us feom God all the fear will leave and we will be overflowing in Gods love unshakable and full of courage and boldness for Jesus. Renewing the mind also is vital to overcoming . Getting to the root which began in childhood from what ever . Rather rejection, being bullied, abused in some way etc. We all hunger for love an acceptance and when we get the revelation from God and know our worth in him fear will begin to fall off never to be seen again. God will heal you .

@@TonyaA7 It comforts me knowing I'm not the only one asking God for this, Tonya! I just want a full revelation of God's love for me because I now understand as human beings, we need love to survive. I want to receive His love, but its still hard for me to wrap my head around the idea that His perfect love is given so freely when all my life I've felt like I had to perform to get someone's affection. Conditional love is fickle and unfulfilling. If God's love is constant, heavy, and rich enough as the Bible says, then I want to experience it in my life because like you've said, perfect love casts out all fear. And I want freedom from the fear that I am not good enough / worthy enough for unconditional love! I will pray for you Tonya -- I HOPE you get this revelation you've been seeking. So sorry what your going through, keep praying!! If you can afford it, I highly recommend seeing a functional medicine doctor, they look for the root cause your disease or health conditions. If you can’t, great docs like dr.berg, dr.kendberry, dr.mark Hyman are great doctors to learn from. I will pray for you! Hope you get better soon

My family and I argue constantly. It’s been over 7 years and we always fight. My dad is a drug addict and my mom is stressed all the time and put it on me and my sibling. I pray that God can help us because all I want is peace, all I need is peace and my family could be restored. I hope you guys have a blessed day. Don’t stop praying. God is in control and no one in life will always have a happy life 24/7. We need to depend on God for support and guidance. Being spiritually in peace will benefit you more than anything ever will in the long term

I’m so sorry to hear your family was (maybe still is) affected by addiction. I’m grateful I moved past that, but the avalanche of pain wrecked the foundation of the family I built, and so I have so much empathy for all of you. I hope & pray by now he’s clean, or at least trying, so he can deal with the emotional pain underneath it all, and healing can begin.

Amen,,,as the goodness of God shine when we are in trouble and we call upon him for his help, and he did!!

I am a mean and vindictive person. I am set on revenge to anyone who wrongs me. I dont want that anymore. I want God to take my need for revenge and replace it with a need to love. Im tired of wasting my energy thinking about getting back at those who have hurt me.

It’s a struggle that some people face more severely than others. Remember that God would not let your temptations exceed what you can bear. Whenever you’re tempted, just be honest with God and say “Lord I’m thinking things I don’t wanna think. I recognize that these are bad thoughts. Lord I take these temptations, I rebuke them, and I give them to you. In place of these temptations I ask that you will replace them with faith, holiness, and a desire to know you more. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen”. I can sympathize with what you’re facing, but trust in God and it’ll be alright. Just always ask Jesus to clean your mind and thoughts. You got this!

The temptation won't go away but the more that you depend on God and talk to him throughout the day, the more you'll desire to please him before yourself. Let your weakness be filled by God's strength and that he can use your sorrow to help you be purified. In 2 Corinthians it says, "Just see what this godly sorrow produced in you! Such earnestness, such concern to clear yourselves, such indignation, such alarm, such longing to see me, such zeal, and such a readiness to punish wrong. You showed that you have done everything necessary to make things right." (NLT version) God is with you, Leo.

"God keeps us grounded through the affliction that He allows." So true and this is the first time I'm hearing this after going to church for decades. We tend to stay close to God when we suffer and now I know why bad things happen to us in life even if we are children of God.

Im exactly like your friend Steven. I can not think of anything good, because the good doesnt seem to matter to me. If theres something wrong, then somethings wrong and it needs to be paid attention to. Its so hard because I just want to show God how much I love Him and am Thankful for this blessing of a life, and for being blessed to know Him, even though I fell worthless and unworthy of even proclaiming to know God. I love this sermon. Thank you for your amazing ability to preach Gods good word. God bless you.

Wow this is so high in understanding of the Word as a sister in the body of Christ I’m so grateful and proud that he even made all those connections and interpretations and metaphors from the Word of God. So God in Him. His clarity and teaching of this passage is legit INSANELY MIRACLE-esque. If you have ever tried to write a sermon or teaching you would understand how powerful this actually is. Like my mind is blown to pieces in the knowledge and heart and compassion of this video. I hope God helps me further understand it I’m confused a bit how to apply it. Like how to put my depression to work and suicidal ideation attacks to work and turn them around. I can almost see it. But maybe I’m not yet supposed to understand. I know I deff feel what Paul feels. Like maybe even what people did to me now causes a sickness and frustration in me to only see what’s wrong. But simultaneously loving God so it will get turned to good because it keeps me at my knees of needing Him and wanting justice for others. And to help others not hurt people anymore- because I’ve been the person hurt. ? Idk lol I’m grateful and blessed for this Word I’ve been feeling like such a leper/freak/outcast of a Christian that will never be ‘cheerful or grateful’ in the ‘typical churchy corny Christian culture’ sense of things. I long to be them. I long to be happy and comfort and ignorant. Is there a way to have no frustration and not be complacent as a vessel for Christ? From this message I believe he (Pastor Steven) says no. Is that true? Can I truly not obtain that somehow? I definitely don’t think I can with my deck of cards in life anyhow but was wondering if a different Christian could?

That's a way to look at it sometimes but I believe that God doesn't want us to focus on that thorn & just rejoice in Him for how far he has brought us & find that joy so we are able to look pass our thorns to honor Jesus for giving His life for us. This message was so eye opening. We can be happy & joyful even though we deal with what we deal with. 2 Corinthians 10:5... (paraphrasing) we must take captive every thought to obey Jesus.

God is waiting for us to trust him,stop focusing on the turn and trust him.

Take it one day at a time and Choose to play worship music in your home, play sermons throughout the day and listen to the bible on Bible Gateway app....All of this requires you just to listen nothing else, and see how this will start to bring you back spiritually.....dont beat yourself up just be real with God and tell him that your hurt that your Dad is gone but your choosing to trust him anyway although you dont understand.....Make your flesh do what your spirit says! "Flesh I will trust God and not live according to my feelings. Flesh I will spend time with God"..... One day at a time my friend, your going to be ok. 🤗❤

Just take it one day at a time. That's all you need. Take that life daily. You'll take less for granted. You'll love only the ones that deserve it. Plenty more blessings in living one day at a time.

Only way to overcome frustration is by God's grace.

But I am, I am strong through Jesus Christ. Amen amen I’ve been rejected by friends, by family and by church but I refuse to give up. I am I am A Child of god and he has a purpose.

I looked at my thorn being my addiction. I’ve literally woke up everyday for a year and three weeks and bumped into it. I’ve never looked at it as standing in front of it like this. Looking at it. Thank u God for everyday I made it out clean and sober.

Hours of alcoholic until I was 57 years old and God took the want of the drink away from me and I have never looked back. Thank you Jesus Hallelujah and we praise your name!

Tonight my 4yr son told me in the middle of our FaceTime, that “Travis is going to be my stepdad and then I’ll have 2 dads.” Then changes the conversation back to the game we were playing previously. My son ended our conversation asking me if I wanted to pray and then prayed in thanksgiving. I watched this message earlier this evening and then was reminded about it after our conversation. Praying that God will take my struggle/hurt to glorify Jesus.

My God...this message blew my mind 🤯 literally. This was so timely for me bc I have been dealing with an issue for years beyond my control. I prayed & fasted several times and it's still there. The way you connected Jesus thorn in that moment was so powerful & I never thought to look at it that way. Thank you Pastor Furtick for this amazing message. I will be purchasing this whole message ASAP. What an on time God we serve ❤️🙌☺️

GOD TAKE THE LIES AWAY

I'm struggling with healing and letting go of all the pain and hurt and things of the past have turned me into someone I'm not sure of. I keep hurting people God sent to me and for me by my bad choices or because I seek acceptance as I'm scared of rejection because I've faced a whole lot of rejection growing up in many different ways.. Please stand in prayer with me for my healing and change so that I do not stand in the way of the blessings God has for me..

My thorn as well as my brother's in christ thorn is the two people we live with. They are so ungodly. When will God deliver us from this situation?

I just hope I hold on I don’t want to be a statistic and hurt people by suicide. But man I feel- I know I’m not- but I feel so strongly justified with all I’ve gone through and this weight and heaviness of the past and present to just end it. I get close sometimes. Especially during 2020. I really hope I hold on. I want to please Him. I want to see what He has in store for me and wait on His timing. Hopefully I don’t impulsively make a mistake, but if I do I held on as long as I could for His plan and glory while loving these enemies that share my blood.

Woh how this teaching changed me. First time I am listening to him and I am in avery bad place right now. Where I feel stagnant, lost, frustrated and just need God right now. The thorn in my life I can not share but I have prayed and prayed and it is till there. My prayer needs to change to God please use this thorn in me to do your work 🙏 to serve you. God let ur will be done.
