I'm a big fan of Russia too, for all sorts of reasons. I see Russia as staunch opposition against the evils of Globalism. With Globalism comes the whole Western "woke" model, IMF loans and Western corporate domniation. Russia says no and I love that about Russia. I support the SMO because I understand what the West was doing with Ukraine over the last decades. Not a fan of war by any means, but under the circumstances, Russia had no choice. I see Russia as a very long-term beneficial place to be. They have all the food and energy they will ever need and more space then they know what to do with. Russia is also making a lot of friends around the world. More countries wanting to join BRICS. Thanks for the video.Wishing you happiness and prosperity in Russia.

@@klubberzvonhatzenbuhl563 yes, it had no choice. The Ukrainians were murdering, terrorizing, denying basic cultural and language rights to the Russian people of the Donbass and other areas of eastern and southern Ukraine. Thousands of innocent civilians were murdered between 2014-2022, and the Ukrainians were concentrating a massive 125 thousand man army to strike at the Donbass - it would have led to a humanitarian catastrophe, with 10s of thousands of civilians dead - Russia preempted this. It also preempted the use of its historic lands as a battering ram against it. Ukraine was being assimilated into NATO without formally joining it: cyber warfare centers, naval bases, military biolabs, airspace being used by B-52s to simulate strikes against Russia. So NATO and the US, the people who gave the world in the last 22 years: Serbia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Yemen , Covid-19, were basically sidling up right next to Russia, on its ancestral lands, preparing for a new “game”. Hell yeah Russia had every reason to strike. It was 100% the right thing to do. The only problem is Russia didn’t do it decisively enough.

There were violations of the Minsk agreement committed by both factions in 2014. But they were directly exacerbated by Putin, Russia and his stooges in the east. This was apparent when he illegally sent his little green men into those areas and conducted a sham referendum in Crimea (which is still not recognized as valid by the vast majority of the nations on earth). For several decades in a row, a stereotype has been imposed on us that our native Russia is backward and hopeless. However, after Russians had ample opportunities to visit other countries and personally compare many aspects of life, it suddenly became clear to us that Russia, in its primary set of values, is an unsurpassed power, and its systemic progression only increases the qualitative gap from Europe and America. Our only problem is a blurred look and inability to appreciate what we have. We were deceived by dreams of a beautiful and free West, which never existed and does not exist, instead taking away the beautiful country that we had! We thought that we were prisoners imprisoned behind the Iron curtain, but it turned out that it was a sanitary barrier from the Western shit that flooded to us. I want the Iron curtain to come down again to the end and we could once again restore the purity of the country and the souls of our people from the Western contagion that is poisoning the whole world.

Hey, man. I think we have a lot in common. I lived in Russia for two years and in Minsk for six months, but I became fluent in Russian. Then I married my wife from St Petersburg. I went to law school in DC and then we moved to Brussels where we lived two years speaking French and now we’ve been in Amsterdam almost ten years speaking Dutch but 95% of adults speak English. Expat life is indeed beautiful and can be exciting. I have to agree with you that living abroad is great for the education of children. And college tuition is super cheap in the Netherlands. I would encourage you to enjoy Russia but be open to other countries that are just as good. Russian and American living in the Netherlands can be just as fun.

At first I wondered if I should shut my mouth on the street but somehow they can usually tell I’m a foreigner anyway. And of course now you can see in the videos I’m often walking through Russian crowds loudly speaking English into the camera. My Russian is also only at a 5 year old level and I currently have a twice a week on-line tutor. I also use the Duolingo app. Many signs are in English and Russian so I have had no problem getting around. Keep in touch if you need any help.

It's "Zaryad'ie" park not "Zar Die Yeah", bro! :)) But it's quite hard to pronounce for English speakers, yeah. You know probably the Russian word "zariad'' (заряд) - it's like battery level on your devices or so. So you just take this "zariad" and add that kinda French looking ending "ie" - here you are: "Zariad'ie"
