oh my! more than I'd like to admit. I can't believe how many times it happened before I realized what was going on.

I need your help.I want to buy a beginner friendly sewing machine. I bought a Brothers sewing machine and the thread would completely wrap around the bobbin case. And this Brothers machine was brand new out of the box. I finally returned it and read the comments and this is a long time issue with the Brothers machine. I just need to be able to sew through layers. Any help is welcome. Thanks 🤗

If I had to buy a machine right now, I’d buy a used older Bernina. Or older Pfaff. The newer machines are all plastic parts that break and wear out fast. My Bernina 1120 was my moms and she ran her sewing business with it for 20 years and now I’ve been running mine with it since 2009. I’ve only had to repair it one time in all those years. I do bring it to have it professionally cleaned about once every two years(should be once a year). And every time the technician says what a great machine! It’s ALL metal parts snd built to last. I don’t know what your budget is but you get a really great basic Bernina 830 for about $300. If you can afford more then go up from there….1010,1120,1260. There’s many on eBay, and FB marketplace. Or see if there’s a Bernina dealer in your area. They may have used machines too, then you know it’s in good working order. I should make a video about this topic.
