I have a 10g only female guppy tank and only 1 of big chain store fish gave birth. I had her quarantined and on a good diet when I got her and she got through labor with flying colors. And so thankful shes still here because she has a great personality and is just a little Angel. A strong mommy

I use vita-chem seachem vitality and seachem garlic gar mixed with Xtreme little fellas and a Aqueon shrimp pellets not every day probably 3 days a week

Happy Thanksgiving! Any indications that meds can stress out mommas? I am doing a series of dosing with Paracleanse and my big momma is “overdue” and looks like she is about to blow up, but isn’t dropping them. Could it be the meds? Following Aquarium Coop recommendations of one dose week one. Rest two weeks. Dose again.

A tip for folks who keep guppies but don't like live plants: use spawning mops as cover for fry and mamas. Good stock is the best way to success. The green dragon guppies I ordered from MFR were pregnant on arrival, dropped fry within 2 weeks, and all are healthy and growing fast.

Hi, well done Michael, another great video however all the products and food mentioned is always only available in the US, you have so many followers from the UK and other countries, I have the problem of guppies just dying which I do think is poor stock but there must be something I could give them to help, from the UK! 🤣

@@MichaelsFishRoom Theres so many options lol which is best for guppies? I'd say flakes because I've actually had a guppy die from eating food too large. I got frozen bloodworms and they were massive compared to normal! And it killed one of my biggest females. I think it got stuck in her digestive tract. She didnt have any other issues. She just dropped dead a few hours later no other symptoms. The one time I fed frozen bloodworms lol.

Mine are still alive haven't had any issues

I noticed they die faster the more babies they have. It's so exosting for them. That's why my pregnant mama's get special treatment.
