Why do bad things happen to good people?
One of the principal questions that human beings have wrestled with since time began - why do we suffer? Why do bad things happen to good people? John, too, wrestles with the answers.

He's so cute on his bike 😭😭
We certainly do learn from mistakes. But...you can only teach yourself to keep your own hand from the fire, others must learn it for themselves, and some never do. The bad things that happen to us are not always a cause of something that we personally did wrong. Some days it’s very much as if someone else had hold of our arm and is forcibly holding in the fire. The bad things that happen do not always have a good reason. Sometimes it’s simply a matter of hateful, evil, selfish people trying to force their misery and darkness onto others. There’s precious little we can do about those moments and I still haven’t learned how to avoid them. Seems like it’s less of an actual lesson, and more of a test in perseverance. I wish I had the answers. But thank you once again for your words of wisdom, John. ❤️
The wisdom/advice here helped me greatly. The presence of God started coming back to me after a 6 months when I watched this. Thank you

I am Muslim but i love to listen to him he's helping me to understand the real meaning of life, i found part of his video on Instagram and it really talked to my soul
I've just discovered this series of videos and this wonderful man in the past few days. And everything he says is true, everything he's talking about I have learned in my own life. I'm basically finishing his sentences for him lol. I wish the same type of blessing upon every human being. If only people understood these things earlier in life, because the truth is the most valuable lessons in life actually come from adversity. I am so grateful that you have given this series to people to learn from and to gain further inspiration. ❤️💕🙏
Yin and Yang: Without a "bad" there would be no such thing as a "good". Or in other words: Without "bad" happenings we wouldn't be able to appreciate the "good" happenings in life
