Madaling araw aalis, madaling araw uuwi. 2 oras na tulog, tapos pasok ulit. Maswerte na siya pag ganun. Kasi may times na 1 month kong di makikita ate ko. Lalo na pag MMFF kaso doble doble project nila. Which is sad kasi 2 lang kming magkasama dito sa Manila. I always make sure na mahatiran ko siya ng damit sa post prod office nila sa Tomas Morato kasi that's A chance for me to see her. Maswerte kung may makakasabay na artista sa elevator. :) Pero I understand my sister kasi I know that she's doing it for us nung nag aaral plng ako and alam kong passion tlga niya. I didn't used to love watching Pinoy Films. Mas gusto ko dati international. I feel na hindi maganda or baduy. But I got to appreciate it more nung malaman ko gaano kahirap gumawa ng pelikula at gaano kalaki sinasakrisyo ng bawat staff para matapos at umabot sa premier night. So please, kung di niyo trip manuod ng Pinoy Films respetuhin niyo na lang.

I'm a grandchild of a lighting director that works with GMA/ABSCBN. The industry is harsh pero grabe impact sa employees nila. Sobra silang magmahal ng trabaho. Totoo, ang sacrifice nila ay time sa family. My lolo now is 70+ years old pero kapag tinawag sya management for a project, go pa din sya. Ganon nila kamahal ang industriyang ito 🥰

I can see and appreciate how strong she can be through her answers in this interview. I am also raised by a single mother, so apart from my admiration in film directing skills of Direk Cathy. I can totally relate dun sa sinabi ni Direk na God will give you an aid or something to get by. I was only 22 yrs old when my Mom passed away and I have no savings, my Dad doesn't have permanent work pero never kami nawalan ng pagkain sa hapag kainan. Totoo yung God will always provide basta you do your part at magtiwala.

I wish that Toni will feature Eileen Sarmenta's mom in then next one. I mean she is one strong brave woman. As a mother myself, I can't imagine where did she find the strength to keep going. Not only that, everytime I search about her daughter's name, it is all about the brutal crime that was done to her. I think Toni Talks fits to pay tribute to her memory and give shed on how she is as a person, and the wonderful moments she have lived behind her sweet smile that those monsters have ended.

😢This made me teary eyed. Direk stay strong as you are. We all miss Epoy. He's a good a friend. I remember whenever we see each other in our car club, we really always laugh together and always enjoy car talk as well as racing. One of the most memorable Xmas party that the car club had was when you attended. We had such a great time during the party games. It was so lovely to see you and Epoy having so much fun. It's ok to take a break, you deserve it. You are a great director, we appreciate your beautiful films, you're a great wife to Epoy and a great Mum to your kids. Take it easy and always stay safe. Wishing you all the best Direk! Prayers for Epoy, he will always be missed.

Same feeling with Direk. I remembered once lang ako umiyak on my parents death. Cguro I was strong enough. But maybe defense mechanism nga. But I always cry whenever I’m alone. I missed them alot.

Same feels kailangan ko I give up career ko kasi sinabihan ako nang anak ko na he wants me to be beside him kasi growing up parati akong wala. Pag alis ko for work tulog siya,umuuwi ako tulog na siya. Prayed for God's sign, then nag positive ako for Covid. Sa quarantine ko na realize na mas importante ang personal life ko and anak ko over my career. Madali lang tayong ma palitan sa work pero ang mga oras nah nawala with our kids as they grew up hindi na ma babalik. Nag file ako nang immediate resignation after quarantine & emergency funds and si Lord ang naging sandigan ko to survive and I thank the Lord so much nah na plan niya buhay ko according to His will. Hindi siya madali maraming instances nah na test yung faith ko but I choose to stay faithful and trusted him so much na alam ko He will never leave me behind. Sharing to you my favorite verse... "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him,and he will make your paths straight"-Proverbs 3:5-6

One of the most promising director in Philippine cinema yet a heart touched by God. I'm so humbled.
