Honestly surprised that the land cruiser got stuck. My wife's jeep cherokee trailhawk is a beast out at matagorda, but I told her to turn her traction control off as soon as she hits the sand. I think that is a lot of people's issue

A 2wd aired down is almost better than an aired up 4wd. Aired down, 4wd, with some type of diff lock is always the best.

I stopped telling people not to do that. Because they always do it. Believe it or not, most of the damage comes from it rubbing on the wheel in a turn or getting pinched in the lower a-arm.
