Thanks Archbishop Peter Kairu for opening up to Kenyans and Clergy. I was MP Gatundu North when you were announced Archbishop for Nakuru. Am a witness in burial of Fr Kaiser and 70 Kikuyus burial in Laikipia including children. This history must be told and especially your commitment to fight for peace and order in Nakuru and Rift Valley. You are an Angel and we as witnesses supported as much we could although admittedly our role was different and not spiritual. You, the late Archbishop Mwana Zeki , Catholic Clergy and many others in other dominations role collectively must be told and appreciated

Here is one of those rare gems in the Catholic Church & in our country. Archbishop emeritus Peter Kairu is a man after God's heart. His LOVE and FAITH in God & man is beyond reproach. It's hard to find a more prayerful, kind & sincere individual. He's the epitome of a true shepherd and his life embodies the virtues of humility, simplicity & kindness. What you see is what you get and there's not an iota of pretense in his bones. May he continue to find peace, joy and tranquility in his retirement. He is obviously aging very gracefully. May Fr Michael Kamau Ithondeka (brutally murdered in 2008) rest in eternal peace! As always, great interview Monica 👍👌

Wow. Archbishop Kairu is a true Legend. I am a Protestant but have been so much involved with Catholicism after attending St.Francis Mang'u High sch. I loved attending Mass at Mang'u Catholic church every Sunday during my O' Levels & A' Levels. I support those asking for Fr. Wamùgùnda. He is a true Legend. He used to celebrate Mass for us in High school & used to give us very good council indeed.. He was a great mentor & a legend.Those days he was youthful and very handsome. We used to ask him why he chose to became a catholic priest.😎 I also suggest you bring Fr. Ndikaru Wa Teresia. Don't forget Fr.C K ( Fr. Charles Kinyua) my favourite online Catholic priest. He is very inspiring & a legend. Also remember Rev Timothy Njoya (PCEA), Retired PCEA Moderator The very Rev Jesse Kamau. My list can go on & on. Very true am from Molo ,kuresoi ,my family was affected by crashes in 1992,1998,dad died in 2001,then 2007 I was big I witnessed,we left our 12 acres land started from zero,life has never been same up to now,but we pray God to be with us.

The Great Man he confirmated me & I can still remember him on that day at kiangunyi Parish latter went to Nyeri. I was a very little lad when the death of Fr Kaiser hit & I could understand how sad it was.

I have been struggling with recent changes in the church both Catholic and church of England for embracing same sex marriages and relationships in church going against the scriptures but our home churches are still going strong and refusing these doctrines and it's serious because we have the society fabric breaking down because of these changes.
