We are puzzled to note that Priya Rajwanshi's murder was committed by her lover's sons. I read somewhere that Priya was also in relationship with Naveen Nischal who was her co-star in the movie "Hasthe Jakhm." Her song in it "Betaab Dilki Tamanna Yehi.." is so melodious that the solo song was beautifully sung by a small boy "Pratyusha Anand" in singing competition in Sony TV channel a few months ago. Two more songs "Mile na tum ko hum ghabraye.." (Heer Ranjha) and "Jaraasi aahat hoti hai ye dil sochtha hai" (Haqeeqat) are immortal. Her action in both the songs was unquestionable. Inspite of glorious past, the fact that she was the victim of hatred & avarice makes us feel sorry for her. Priya's tragic end of life is a lesson for those who blindly repose faith in endless live-in relation (without ever thinking of marriage). Her life guides youngsters about what not to do under the influence of love. May her soul rest in peace !

The fault lies with Chetan Anand. For not marrying Priya, for not leaving the house to her in full along with money. After all when he was sick, she was the one taking care of him, and also for all the 28 years she spent with him. She gave up having children to please him, she probably worked for free for him in his movies since she was in lobe with him. No respect for Dev Anand for sitting on the sidelines when he could have done something to help. I hope his sons got a very long prison sentence.

She should have kept in touch with her family in the UK and taken regular trips back and forth. She made the mistake of starring only in his films thus affecting her career. He should have sold the property and divided it before he was going to die. So everyone would get their share. Having that 1/3 share and with her lover no more was like a sheep just waiting to be devoured by tigers. A lone woman. Helpless. She put all her eggs in one basket. She should have made more contacts with other powerful people in the film industry. She would have been alive today. This love affair cost her her life.

If she had worked independently with other filmmakers, she would have owned ten such bungalows. Chetan Anand would have bought him a house for her Situations do not happen. Disgrace on Anand name, how can they murder in cold blood over property’s issues, when it was Priya Rajvamshi’s who took care of sick dying people who she was in a live in relationship for 28yrs. Where were Chetan sons, why didn’t they care for him when he got sick? They killed Priya for the part of her property he left her. They are murders and should be prosecuted and put in jail for life. 😢😢😢

People with high connection and money always managed to slip away from the clutches of Indian Judicial system. Anands were no exception, Dev Anand could have done Justice to Priya but he didn't, which shows him as a weak and spineless personality.
