Ya normally it’s just supposed to slam you into the stage, forcing a wake up. But fox can grab enemies so far off the stage that it just throws them down. Nowadays almost everyone will just DI and tech the stage, so it doesn’t work.

@@confucheese you can't sdi fox's dthrow, you can just DI in. You can also meteor cancel it and it won't ever kill if you just press jump.

Borp has a great video where he uses it on unaware players, shows like 30 KOs with it. Also has a lot of kirby kamikaze throws from ledge. Borp seems to be even better at shredding noobs than most top100 players

zackolot Ya I meant DI, thanks for catching that mistake. AFAIK there’s only like 3 throws in the game you can SDI and it’s not even the throw itself you’re technically SDIing in those cases. The meteor cancel is implied since everyone knows what a meteor cancel is and the original comment says it’s a meteor.

That first 40 seconds has to be the funniest thing I've ever seen in melee like the backwards hit at the end. Kirby is an absolute enigma

when you're playing at such an optimal level that the best move is to pull out the 9-year-old-that-just-discovered-the-C-Stick strats
