i think it was also the fact that he had no copy of 2.1, he couldn't fix the iOS or Android versions and couldn't add stuff progressively because he only had 2.2 as a dumpster fire

True, i quit this piece of shit and moved on to better games

This sort of thing happens with a lot of games, when you're making a game it's SO easy to add smth that you think will take you only a day or 2, but it *always* takes longer than you think, whether its due to bugs, balancing, or just it being difficult to implement. In a lot of these cases, games end up abandoned or release as a buggy mess so I'm grateful that Robtop managed to fix (most) major bugs and get the update out, even if it took so long.

• Pretty sure 2.2 wasn’t accidentally leaked, Rob just used the latest build as a base to update the spinoffs and didn’t care • Most of the icons weren’t included in the GD Lite “leak”. None of the cubes were, which was likely intentional • Never saw anyone complain that Explorers is unsynced, played it myself and it’s great • iOS 17 wasn’t the only version to break GD, iOS 15 did too (for some reason 16 worked) • RobTop never “lied” about the release date

No 2.2 was accidentally leaked. Lite and Meltdown were removed cause of TOS breaks. Rob removed most of the 2.2 stuff (he forgot some of it) and uploaded it.

5:20 the swingcopter cube bug is still in 2.2, its only in practice mode and mini gamemode i think. I found that in the same DAPixelhero's level on gdps nor the original server. Yeah, robtop definitely still needs to fix that

Maybe because he had to make the icon trail as well as the glow work for over 700 brand new icons, design blocks for a WHOLE NEW TAB in the editor with about as many pages as the block tab, add a platformer mode, a new orb, the ability to make any of the orbs reverse you, make sure that the arrow trigger didn't break the game, 5 new levels, 2 new game modes, lists, like 6 new shard types, a flipping battle pass, the best flipping icon in the game ship 150, realistic* ice physics, grip slopes, gravity triggers, a new customizable particle block, 2 NEW SHOPS, A BRAND NEW CURRENCY AND A NEW COLLECTABLE, and make sure none of that broke the game, wow! I wonder why it took so long! It's a mystery
