Great video, been loving this format about just talking about classes issues and things that PA reaaaally should consider working on!

All i want is a icon for spiritforge and either a eva shred or acc buff outside bsr skills, so we can go full eva hybrid. Perhaps make lvl 3 buff more important or last a bit longer. Class is beautiful and super fun tho!

what is the page that he showed to see how many players are compared to other classes?

I still don’t understand her passive and how to tell when you are Spirit Forged or not. What pulls you out, what keeps you in, for how long, etc?

Not every single class that they make has to be a mindless grinder. The high apm classes are my favorite.

and another thing.... people make it seem like 1 class should be able to kill every other class in the game.... like each class is not suppose to have a role.... I can't wait to get her on console though they taking forever I just want to main her awakening already

@@kaibailey8995 lack of accuracy means she can't deal with evasion classes, lack of grab means she can't deal with shield classes which needs a grab to counter, so awak maegu is only good at killing low gear players who is running weird builds because they aren't end game yet.

​@kaibailey8995 You will find yourself getting rolled in high level combat. AWA Maegu doesn't exist anymore in RBF or AOS. If they did, they're the first ones dead.

High apm isn't an issue in PvE as long as it pays off. Doing extra work for far less reward is bs. PA needs to stop doing this. It just kills the class immediately. This was the first new class I was looking forward to since I started playing, and I'm already disappointed before even getting to play it. I'm hoping it eventually gets buffed like awk drak did.

Super high AP with really heavy punishment for any missplays. PA was definitely just scared of repeating how busted succ maegu was and left awk to be sorta... lackluster and never followed up with many QoL buffs :c

She is missing the oomph she had, I mean the nerf was a little too much. The game is pretty much 100% grind and the apm is high, it gets annoying. There has to be an incentive to play the high apm classes. I feel like the majority of people want an easy grind. I see Zerkers all the time just hopping around killing everything lol.

Do you reckon they will buff it back up to a normal level? As the path notes for Xbox they say, they've perfected awakening meagu. But I feel like this isn't true

Unless you practice combos for god knows how long she doesn't flow well, i really don't know how to word that better but that's it. On succ I always feel like I have buttons to press, for awk there are way less abilities and you are discouraged to switch to succ because of the passive. On awk her E doesn't feel good to use cause she is stuck like a rock and the AOE is pathetic, it doesn't have variations like succ where u can forward or backwards + E. Her Q doesnt feel good to use cause its not 360, pretty much what feels nice is the slashing dash, forward and backwards F....

As a new player who just finished his first season with a ninja. Maegu is a nice relaxing time. She melts quickly early game. I arrived at heidel and have only been hit once. Her evasion is so much easier imo than a ninja. I love that i can also throw an attack now and move out the way before the hit explodes. Im lvl 60 with awakened ninja and maegu just flows better to me. As in it flows like water

it just looks and feels like a pre-reboot class

In short awakening needs more skills that are meaningful so you don't have to go back to succ at all I've been saying this since I started playing like they really don't flush out awakening at all

tbh, i still in awk maegu cuz of the combo is very cool. most pl dont like maybe her awk passive is difficult for them to keep on?

i think her passive just needs to make more sense, and maybe not be so hard to keep up? like maybe make the timer a lot longer like succ kuno's, and maybe it shouldn't drop when you go into preawakening her passive with the spirit forge stuff is really juss whats putting me off with the class, i love the apm and the aesthetic

I’m really annoyed because it was Maegu Awakening or Drakania Awakening Who is more fun and better at PVE I’ve been torn between picking a main for myself and I love them both awakening.. If anyone can help me decide it’ll be helpful.. I love the theme of Drak and Maegu I love the playstyle of Drakania but hate the damage she does.. I love Maegu because she’s got fox spirit and is strong I love the looks of drak and Maegu and I hate not having a main. Help me please

im on the fence about the same thing but think im going to go maegu because they will eventually buff it while it seems drak doesnt get much love

TLDR Maegu awakening sucks. Saved you 11 minutes.

i tagged her for awa, never liked her succ. im a little annoyed how frequently i need to use pre awak to not be useless in pvp and my dmg feels like a wet noodle. even full glass cannon, its a struggle to kill some people

I quit her because F skill turns my camera and stuck it in random locations so i didnt see #$%#, i know living without this skill is posible, but too often even by accident i press it only to have camera lock in some random place, after 1h of grind my brain was bleeding beacause of it.

You can try reallly try with awake Maegu.And a succ Maegu can still do wayyyy more with less apm and less skill and less gear.

I like her I just hope she will get some changes.

Im a awk valk player rn and aint played like 6 months and she got some serious nerfs at high end spots I guess. so Im about to reroll but Idk which one. I used to play awk mystic like 19/20 years. If you saying awk mystic is back and good at end spots then Ima reroll. and my other option is awk sorc... but would yo do?? Im 293 ap btw if its still end😁 thank you.

Definitely try awakening Nova before you reroll to mystic im only saying this as someone who's first class was valk back in the day I tried Nova the season she came out and her awakening kit immediately very reminiscent of valk! Hope this helps 🙌

I am not really up to date with how good they are, check their discord! So far it seems on Garmoth that Maegu Succ is better than both Woosa and Maegu specs!

I also agree with some people in chat that not every class should be good at everything, but those that love their class shouldn't feel bad or left out regarding their preference. I'm sure they'll come back around with changes soon enough. I mean at least they didn't break your class like awk kuno's, but they also didn't super charge your class like awk corsair. jk, they didn't super charge her. I just wanted to mention my main. 😆 Anyway, people know where they need to go if they like a specific aspect of the game class wise. Best duelest? Best low end grinders? Best high end grinders? Best life skill? Best support? Best group pvp ranged? Best brawler? I like that most classes get their slice of the pie. Also, Succ Valk stonks on the rise?

Personally think awak maegu feels better than succession, a good awak maegu should be much more mobile and bursty with the passive, and she definitely is. Preawak skills still do nice damage and provide more utility more than anything. I think in alot of cases the clone mechanic in succession is kind of useless in so much content? Though I feel like in awak ur going to be doing much more damage (especially on single targets) than succession due to new t3 addons on each skill making maegu have 15% crit dmg almost always up (10% passive 5% addons) and it is incredibly easy to keep her passive up, pack to pack mobility is also very solid. Still much higher apm but I do think it is rewarding 😊 atleast from my experience!

Needs more protections and a few more skills the way the buff plays in with the skill is amazing real potential for big damage

Agreed it currently feels below a healthy effort-reward ratio - I don't think it needs drastic changes to be good. Just a couple tweaks to AoEs and a few skills and yeah please an attack speed buff for BSR downtime. I really disagree with the pre-awakening point though. It's way cooler to have a second kit that's relevant to swap to for flexibility. 😔

I mean, her entire problem is she's a combo class in a trade meta with no real way to trade, and no grab to compensate. An accuracy-less class in an evasion meta. Sure, succ spoiled people, but woke is just worse sorc in most ways except movement. It's a shame, because she feels fun.

Literally the only good thing on her right now, her attacks arent even that cool, spin is fun but every class spins almost. Easy combo 1v1s but get 2 and you unprotected af to do good dmg

I dont like her spiritforge mechanic, get rid of it and let her just have it at max always, they doing too much with her kit imo 😂

the maegu class kind of fell off for me because she has a class mechanic that's kind of unintuitive and confusing. compare that to other class mechanics. it would be better if her spiritforge mechanic is shown the same way as mystic's or striker's martial spirit shard instead of being represented as a buff in the buff bar.

I love my Awa Maegu, easily one of my favorite classes. Same exact predicament as Sage, Awa is higher apm 21 to 22k at Hexe but mass majority play Succ, doing 17 to 18k. Most BDO players Effort The continual "Awa Maegu needs more damage" is clear ppl don't understand the class...at all, why would they when there's an easier more braindead class that can cc at range? Most ppl can't even think for themselves when it comes to addons and combos...asking for one and ignoring the other. Most want easy straightforward options...Awa Maegu is not that...sad part is she's not even that complex to begin with...Succ is just that much easier. My clear speeds at Hexe and Quint are insanely fast compared to over half the class roster.

what combo are you using ?

I do kind of miss the old days when stance switching for awakening classes was a requirement for bringing out the best of a class. Awk Maegu gives that nostalgic feel. Now a days you don’t need to do any pre awakening skills for most classes and it somehow feels less exciting.

I think awakening and succession should be 2 separate playstyles with not even have the need to touch each other... if there is something that I hate in this game is this awakening sh1t of having to switch weapons or swap them accidentally... if you want succ, stay succ, if you want awakening make the while kit for the awakening so you don't need pre-awakenings.

there’s a reason why there’s specialties between the two. Succession and Awakening. two different playstyles for two different scenarios. unless we’re talking about archer then that’s how it is when switching from both is seamless since archer.

@@erickmunizrocco Yea, that doesn't fly. Some classes have to do it. I play Awk Wizard. There aren't enough abilities in the awk tree to sit in it the entire time at high end. You have to weave in some succ abilities to really pump.

"She has too high of an APM to keep her kit working and not enough accuracy" TL;DR Honestly, I think if you made the self buff mechanic like sage or guardian where it stays up longer without all the requisites and conditions so it isn't something you have to worry about, the class would be in a great spot.

She's decent. People got spoiled by the super strong prenerf succ maegu. Nerfed succ maegu is "stronger" because of AoE and easier skill transitions but overall, in terms of pve I pull about the same within 1k trashloot. Arguably prefer it in most Boss Blitz over succ with the exception of Bamboo. That teleport over a good distance by just reticle is so good. Both versions def need a little damage boost at least for pve. Don't know why woosa didn't get hit as hard for pve.

nobody got spoiled by how stronge succ was u acting like we never played any other classe in this game shes just trash and badly designed spec and there is no reason to play her over any other class shes just not interesting or unique she just vigit spinner and clunky

Maegu awk is not good at every spot but i really love her apm and style its less boring than succ. Ppl only want easy class to perform and didnt really look what matter the most having fun while playing.

Very high apm no reward for that high apm this game is already a struggle to get gear so why struggle to even play the game with the gear that’s already so hard to get ? Then on the other hand to me in terms of high apm it’s so many better choices

I found her fun to play, but her unforgiving playstyle made me not play her. You're either good or bad on this class, no in-between

I would bet that anyone who wants that high apm playstyle is probably already invested in their ninja/kuno, the rerollers are the one's who want the braindead low apm easy grind classes so high apm classes aren't going to entice many people to switch.

wizard succession bdo pvp is the worst class.

People still think maegu is broken class cause her and clone makes her hard to aim and i guess this stigma will stick to maegu forever. i hope PA rework her at least giving her some sustain or accuracy buff

Lol but the awakening kit was made to swap back and forth between pre and awakening. The player base has just gotten lazy ever since people played guardian and shai. “Why can’t my class be boring and simple with high damage like shai and guardian” there should be more high apm classes…they should buff high apm classes to have greater rewards for making their combos longer and faster….combo breaker passive when??

You're in the wrong here, it's not that we are lazy or so, it's that the awakening abilities in contrast to succ are so different/better that it outshines the awakening itself. If I want to farm Sycraia Lower with Awakening Maegu, I spend 60% of my time in pre-awakening. It's the strength leftover on Absolute skills which conflict the playerbase. If I am to spend 60% in pre-awakening I might as well just go succession.

@@VerdictBDO As someone who plays awk wiz, we have to go back into Succ to to really pump while grinding. Unfortunately, its the nature of the beast. I would feel more sorry for the awk maegu players, if succ wasn't so absolutely busted in regards to grinding. I actually hate the class, just because of how it came on the scene broken AF and still remains broken AF in grinding.

Personal opinion but a classes Awk kit should be COMPLETE and able to stand on its own without ever having to swap back to pre-awk.

@@VerdictBDO Yep I agree. Very few class can actually seamlessly integrate mainhand and awakening skills and often they're already great class to begin with. Classes like Ninja, Zerker, and ranger to name three. There's like 2-3 more out of how many classes?

Personally I disagree with the higher apm = more reward in pve. I want every class to be around the same in in terms of pve reward. I’m not saying I want to see nerfs to classes pve but more buffs to bring everyone up to the top 3 classes. Maybe it’s because I’m a shai but I find the pve on shai very fun and entertaining since there is no real need for a set combo and every pack u can change up your skill roto, idk but I find it way more fun than these other classes.

SHe didn't fail. The class is extremely strong. It's just that the majority of Black Desert players are handless and brainless.

This is not ever ground in reality, nothing about Awakening Maegu is strong, nothing. She sucks in PvP, she above medium in PvE. She is far away from being extremely strong.
