His slightly manic energy and authenticity makes him the perfect Jonathan Larson. So much love for Tick tick boom! It is one of the best adaptations.

What I like about him is that he’s not afraid to be himself in interviews, you watch other actors and they obviously have a wall of mannerisms they show during promotions and interviews…but Andrew just lets himself go..look at his storytelling..he acts out what they do, he changes his voice to switch characters

This is not true. Andrew being himself is what got him fired from spiderman . The good thing is it taught him a new level of professionalism.

@@cjtiefighter8202 he got fired because he got sick and couldn’t make it to an event. I truly think Marvel had a part in it and wanting to go with someone younger in the MCU and so that was used as an excuse as an attempt to make themselves look better.
It's so strange hearing him talk in his native accent, when you're only used to him from the movies.

He has dual citizenship for Britain and America and has spent a while growing up in both countries, so his accent is unique, I’d say. As a Brit, I can’t quite place it but his accent is off in a way, but it’s probably just an American twinge

“I’ve never sung before” proceeds to sing like THAT after apparently only practicing for about a year. I swear I fall more in love with this man every day that goes by. I am praying the academy takes a hint and gives him an Oscar for this absolutely perfect performance!

0:30 - 0:55 the most adorable Andrew’s mumbling who was taken aback by Steven’s compliment, which happens to be a true statement that gives me life
i've seen the movie and can confirm he CAN sing and perform! very very well!
No one ever mentions 'Boy A', some of the best work he's done, and my first introduction to this great actor. If you haven't seen it, now's the time to check it out.

The fact that he said “the court of public opinion”… which are the exact words Daredevil tells Peter in Spider-Man 3…. Both pisses me off because of all the lying he did for the movie….and is truly magical to hear now.
In my opinion he was Spider-man...if you read the comics Peter parker is a smart ass, not an emo kid who wants to talk about your feelings

Tobey is a better Peter, who is sheepish, nerdy. Andrew is a better Spiderman, who, with the mask on, is more confident and a smart ass. Tom is a bit of both.

@@mvn2106 I'm using his performance overall, I've read the comic since the seventies...I get an actor bringing his or her take on a character, but Toby wasn't remotely like Peter in the comic, Garfield was also favored by Stan Lee who also saw him as the titular web head
