New to the game and decided to become a deadlock main - literally only started playing her cuz she was pretty lmao

I think the equipment time of the sound sensor and the time it takes to be active (to become invisible) should be faster. This changes incentivizes deadlock to use her traps more aggressively on the attack. Also you should be able to recall the trap during the round and at a slightly farther distance.

I think her Gravnet (besides the buffs it is getting) should be the signature ability with a 30 / 40 second recharge timer, while the cage should be her C ability. Her trips should also be buffed in activation time, as it is way to easy to destroy. How is it that the detection is worse than both Alarmbot or Cypher Trip and it is also easier to destroy without getting instant value (compared to KJ and Cypher). Cage is kind of shit, but I think that is more a usability thing. Let the Cage have a way larger arm length so it doesn't just become useless when it is slightly off center in a choke.

In my opinion her Gravinante should have a 30 recharge cooldown since out of every ability in the game i find the gravinante the worst and most underused it makes the enemy crouch which doesnt change much when they can just slightly look up or just wait 8 seconds for the gravinante effect to go away. if it was 2 kills to recharge that wouldnt make sense since that system is duelist exclusive and sentinels are meant to hold and slow down pushes more then get alot of kills each round

In reality the only problem I have with her is that she does absolutely nothing in attack (before planting). She basicaly has her net which isn't exactly great and she only has 1! She can't check for flanks as everyone knows. She can't help with info or smokes as cypher could. She can't play off-angles like sage could. So, once they give her some utility for attack then maybe we'll see her being played.

Honestly good points for her ability usage but like the whole point of a sentinel is flank control so I think thats why she is at such a low pick rate because as you said in the video KJ is just a better pick. Good Video!

The reason Deadlock is "bad" is because literally nobody realizes that she's not a flank holder or lurker, she's a space holder and an expert in punishing aggressive opponents SO next time some of y'all play Deadlock, use her trips to stall pushes, not flank covering

Honestly i don't think just making her abilities recharge will do much as all of her abilities are worse than their counterparts, personally getting rid of the ability to remove the effects of gravnet and making the sound sensors motion based would make her good enough while still keeping the flexibility of her kit. + maybe fix the ultimate bugs

I'm a silver deadlock main When playing her you need to anchor a site don't leave unless if the enemy is fully committed to the other site For her walls you can use it to block site that is important to the map like ascent mid or simply block the site main and help your mid player Her trip can be use in close main or where the enemy mostly go when committing site or retaking site also keep watching the trip as it doesn't detect people close to it Her grenade It can be used as a substitute for her wall if you did not place your wall in site to force the enemy to slow down for a second and you can also spray through them when smoked Her ult Just learn how does it work in most part it will just form 45 degrees cause it only bounce once so you can make some lineup for free kill(not necessary) I can say non tracer gun is good for deadlock and she can be powerful or weak depending to how her enemy play she's a risk taker agent but when mastered she's almost compared as good as killjoy but with a skill similar to sage wall she's a high risk good reward so she's not good for pro play unless riot will buff her abilities

Fun fact if you put your sensors at places where they have to make noise like any drop point is god like but also I don’t like her ult tbh I feel like it should be instantaneous like her sensors

I love deadlock more the kj now she's so different and she has just as much of a weird play style as kj and I love that. Had to drop kj for deadlock aaa

The sensor should be buffed. Someone recommend that while the whole area is 9mx9m, the first 3mx3m could be triggered without a sound. I think that's reasonable. IDK what to say to all the Deadlock haters, but I enjoy playing her because as a sentinel main I have missed playing a bit aggressive and she allows me for some action

I thought this was a game review so i "watch it later" it I played valorant 2 or 3 times since i transferred my garena into riot account so i dont know her

Why Deadlock’s worst state is worse than Yoru’s worst state: 1:yoru’s utility on release still had some guaranteed value. His flash could still flash, his tp can still get you from one place to another fast, his ult MADE you unkillable for a short period. However, Deadlock has no guaranteed value utility in her kit. Her stuns can be walked through, her wall is too short and can be broken fast, etc. 2: badly designed. Now obviously, yoru on release was bad, but his utility can be combined. He can flash tempo, set up footsteps to fake sites, ect. Deadlock however, has each individual ability lack any design thought or combination thought. It almost feels like her abilities were strung together from other agents. Her stuns go off on sound, but her net makes them crouch? Her wall blocks of enemies, sure. But how does that help establish her other abilities? 3: shoulda been scrapped. Yoru has a cool design, and the idea for the kit just needed to be fully realized. Deadlock has little personality, her kit makes no sense, her general idea of being “sage but different” shouldn’t have even left the idea board, and everything about her is just so underwhelming.

I respect your opinion and your passion on the topic, but I believe that deadlock has way more impact on the game than release yoru. I agree the traps are weak, but when used correctly it can work. Her walls slow pushes down or blocks off an area in site which the enemies cannot break. Either way, I respect your opinion!

I don't think she is easy to counter, she is just plain bad in attackers side. She performs well in defense once you learn lineups for the cage and web. They fix that somehow and she is good to go.
