    this gives a similar technique to using 'glow' set to softlight and tweaked sliders, super nice and cinematic

    Well on my opinion its just the color density and glow is a technique used for film emulation, where you try to make your digitally shot footage look like film. It brings luminance in a soft way around the bright regions of the footage. And literally i love this glow technique 😊

    Someone watches Cullen Kelly. Haha! Using HSL inversely in this scenario also has a similar effect in case you want to keep the dense look but with desaturation.

    @@salmannafeesacademy I was trying to introduce richer saturation with the tone curve so can’t wait to try this without changing the contrast of the image. Especially excited that I can target different regions independently with one node with the lift, gamma and gain wheels 👌

    Great technique indeed. It is however very important to let the viewers know that in order for this technique to work one needs to be in a specific color space like Davinci Wide Gamut or similar, otherwise the results will not be as intended

    One question. How do you have 3 sections on the workspace, the Color wheels, the Custom Curves and the Scopes, instead of only two?

    Its because of a higher resolution screen and bigger screen size. If you have a macbook what you can do is just go to display settings in mac in system settings and turn your your settings to more space and this will probably give you a bigger area on davinci layout :-)
