Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
I hope you guys learned a bit of something is this new video about why clients dont care how well you fade. Barbering is alot more than just a nice clean fade. It's a whole lote more than that, and in this video I explain just that.

The Barber's Table I love your videos! As a new barber, you and so many others inspire me to keep reaching keep going and growing 🙏🏼👊🏼 Thank You
Honestly, I believe this is one of your best videos yet. You really touched on the important things that a lot of people and even barbers don’t care or even think of doing.

Much appreciated bro 🙏🏾. I regularly see the focus of content on technical skill, yet not too many "tutorials" on improving the mind of a barber. This is one of my favorite videos so far.

Man I love your videos and your way of thinking as a barber. Your right on the money man . Thanks for taking the time to enlighten us barbers. Hope you continue giving us such great advice. I’ve been barbering for 39 years and you’re taught me things I’ve never were taught in barbering school . Keep up your good work man. My respect to you. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏👏👏👏👏
This definitely needs to be said a lot more Kev, people have it twisted. personality and interacting with the customer is way more important than trying to achieve the cleanest fade ever. I’ve been learning this side of customer service myself.

Yea money has people confused. They focused on the money and forget the person who gives it to them. The service is all that matters.
The advice you are giving about how you treat your clients... It shows in your video work. You treat your subscribers just like you treat your clients. Great job
I really loved the style of this video. You had you and your friend going ham and then going back to the discussion. Narrative braiding was a great way to explain it. You strive to stay evolving and i dig it, man. Keep it up!
Im tryna hear that story about the bad review 😂
You know your stuff to the T! I’ve been watching a bunch of your videos. Def My favorite barber channel
ATTITUDE is the most important trait for all services. Right on brother!
Bro! Absolutely love this video! Everything about it, loved when you went into the part where you explained how when you learn how to cut you learn all the technicalities then you just go straight back to the cutting like second nature💯
Brother....You really hit the nail on the head with your philosophy about barbers. Most barbers are cluless on customer service, evolution in skills, communication and overall kindness. I wish I had a barber likr you in my nic of the woods. Im done with barbers. I'm about to learn to cut my own hair.
This is so true im a big believer of the very thing you spoke about. Building a relationship and creating clients into friends
This is the video I been looking for, been watching you since I first started cutting hair, now I’m at a shop figuring out ways to better my craft.
First time watching your videos and as a young barber.. this is the best barbering video I've ever watched. Preach brotha
Bro I just graduated from Texas Barber College. You have been inspiring & educating me through the whole process. I'm in a shop now Life Changing Cuts in Houston Texas. I'm definitely talking this advice to heart. Thank you
this was a really good video, its exactly how i feel that I have built my clientelle in just the 2 yrs ive been cutting hair. as a female barber i figured itd be harder to build but being this way like you explained has really made my clientelle stay loyal and continue to grow
Keep up the good work bro, I've been watching your KZread for a while now and you've help me grow as a beginner barber, I've been cutting since high school but just now taking it serous. Lets keep grinding
30 yrs under my belt as a barber, & i can tell u, u sir are a Very WISE man! great video, thanx & god bless dude
I was smacked right to my face with the words of wisdom. I'm still at school, but after watching this video I understand the tendency of clients coming back to me even though last haircut wasn't my best work but I got somewhat connection with them. Thanks vor the vid.
Glad to hear another brother went to cosmetology school! It takes the crown over regular barber school

Massive help! Great content covered and still relevant 2 years later
This is one of your best videos to date!!! ❤️❤️❤️ good job babe
Great great video! My wife and I own a beauty and barber shop. I naturally do these things your talking about with clients and they love it they love the experience. The other ladies in there don't understand why they tip so well and love coming back to me, I guess I didn't either. My wife said they love talking to you so yes this makes sense to hear you say this. It's the experience it's the conversation and the attention I give them. They eat it up. When the other stylists in the salon see them as a number, their just trying to get done and on to the next one.
This video is straight truth. I’ve had multiple customers that left great barbers that didn’t give AF about experience
Man you are so talented with your edits. The time you take to capture every shot and angles is amazing. Keep it up bro your gonna get big 🙌🏻
“Best video to date” true statement 🔥🙌
Bro you speak straight knowledge! you inspire me to cut & make me believe in myself! keep up with the great content
Great video, your so right I've been to a lot of barbers over the years and most of them just focus on the cut not the customer and that actually can make the difference I wish you were here in Columbus.
Always got quality content bro. Stay consistent w uploads and you'll grow FAST.
Aye man this video really opened up on how I see things now especially as a barber, I didn’t get my license yet but I claim myself as a barber cause that’s my passion. This video is great
i hella needed to hear this ! thank you for helping me improve myself as a person and barber as well
🤯...I’m just gonna pause for a moment....................BRO!!!! The info on this joint right here! This is exactly why I chose to go hard. It’s about how you make someone feel! Two things I live by, it’s about having great rapport and being able to have a positive influence. People literally, want to know THEY MATTER! Yeah man shout out to you for speaking on it!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Real talk, clients don't know the difference. No matter how you fade, they will always get out of the chair and thank you for the haircut. If it looks good, then the Jobs a gooden!!
Damn, I never really sat back and thought about if a client can really tell what a great fade really is. I stay coming across people in the streets or bar or club with a fade that isn’t clean. It’s either patchy or you see some lines that weren’t blended as well, slightly uneven lineup. What you say is true now that I think about it. Dope vid. Subbed
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥got dis on repeat refocus every morning‼️‼️‼️
Loved the video g. Good stuff very encouraging advice too man.
I know these are old vids but I’m glad I ran across it brother I’m hoping to get into barber school real soon jusy trying to lay the ground work
I needed this. Great video and valuable content. Thank you.
Love your look to your shop. This video was great thank you.
I just wanna mention that you take the time to make these videos look “quality” stepping out in cold weather to record the outside of the shop...passionate barber

Haha, gotta get the detailed shots. Dope you noticed that. I don't get much comments soon people who notice those things. lol
👍🏼 Thumbs up for video and wanting to hear the story. I’m definitely taking notes coming out of cosmo school and straight into sports clips has been a challenge. This definitely helped on what I need to focus on as far as my client I feel I’ve been skipping that part since I’m so nervous on my technical skills which I know will come in time! 🙌🏼🙏🏼✍🏼
I've been on the business end of the beauty industry most of my adult life. Now I'm considering starting barbering at 35 years old. Thanks for the videos.
Dropping some knowledge! Thanks for the videos man, they’re very helpful and informative.

Very good video can relate can understand why you are such a successful barber
Valuable information...take heed barbers & some ole school Barbers
On point bro, attitude over skills.
I love how you just catfished us with the lil home studio then popped out with the whole shop👏🏻😭
Kevv you hit the nail on the head. I cut my own hair and my kids hair for the exact same reasons you pointed out. I’m Not a professional but I know what I’m doing. I stop taking my kids to barbershops because of the foul language, extremely loud music where the barber can’t even hear you tell them what kind of haircut you want. I’m a professional installer and starting my own business, what you are pointing out every one can learn from no matter what you do in life. Everything you do in life you learn and roll over to the next chapter in life. Keep up the good work I’ve been following you since you started in the basement.

Appreciate that input! I agree completely, especially with it being applicable in all fields. That's I don't like when people in the industry or outside of it minimize barbering, because the lessons learned behind this chair can make anyone successful in any field. I've always seen life as a cool game where you get to improve yourself, and try again. Thanks for the support man! Appreciate your comment 🙏🏾
Appreciate those gems bro!👌🏾
Love your videos dude!
Great video! Great content much love from Orange County Handsome D BARBER
Love this! Definitely post about the bad review. Curious about this
I can't count how many times I've heard barbers on KZread say that it doesn't matter whether you give a great cut as long as you give a great service, but you're the first one to actually explain in such clarity what that really means and how to achieve it. Kevv, you're wise beyond your years and your outlook is impressive at such a young age. Don't focus on the income... focus on the outcome and the money will take care of itself. Love.

You and me both Blake. i remember being very confused at what that phrase actually meant and struggled to search for answers. What exactly is service? Especially when it comes to raising prices, people just say do better and you'll have better. The how and the why aren't explained. Appreciate the love man, always 🙏🏾.
@BlakeSuperior_Beats

That leads me to another great topic for a future video... how, when, and how much to raise your prices. The industry buzzwords are, "know your worth" but what does that actually mean?...

Definitely already in the works. I love that topic so much I'm scared I won't do it justice. lol. So i've put it on hold kind of. but I'm just going to go for it. Probably next week or so.

The video I needed to hear. I am too focused on cutting hair and cant focus on the client. That’s why i struggle to build a clientele and I want to quit badly. Cant seem to figure it out
I’m a barber in Washington and I went to Paul Mitchell myself and what your talking about is awesome most barbers forget that it’s all about the client good stuff bro keep it up

Too many barbers forget about that man. I feel it maybe because they didn't even come in the industry to serve others, just themselves. But yea the paul mitchell system is definitely big on that.

The Barber's Table ya bro Paul Mitchell systems does a good job on teaching that keep up the good work love the videos and the vibe you have going on
This video hit the spot...
This video is so dope!
It depends on the shop; some shops the culture is set where being personable like that is a requirement especially shops that are servicing clients with higher incomes which it looks like barber's table is in. But for the majority of shops especially immigrant shops an impersonal conversation is pretty common with the focus being the quality of the cut. I live in the bay area and have been from low end to high end barbershops & salons and it's like that everywhere. Even without the quality conversations that are supposedly a must out here at least it's common for barbers to be scheduled at least a month out
Great video and value! I just subscribed!

8:04 Although I stopped going to the barbers because I found haircuts inconsistent I agree with this point, especially with Black barbershops I went to. It wasn't even just being good, it was being expected to be a certain way.
🙏🙏🙏🙌 Needed this
I’m a senior about to graduate high school in a week, and I’ve been thinking about going to this barber school over the summer, good choice?
