Mitch, this guy is my favorite WR prospect in the draft, too. I want my Ravens to trade back into the 1st round and grab this guy. I think we should use our #14 pick on George Karloftis since Jordan Davis will be off the board by then.

@@jayduncan9683 The football pads slow most players down some. Watson looks like a guy who can run as fast in pads as he does without them, and that's pretty rare. I grew up playing with him, a large part of why he wasn’t offered by bigger schools is because he grew late. He was always a fast and athletic player but up until around his sophomore year he was around 5’9. Junior and senior year he grew to 6’3. The scary thing about it tho was even tho he grew he didn’t lose any of his speed like most people do when they grow. he also played running back almost his entire life up until high school which where a lot of his agility comes from. If you watch his tapes closely he has very running back like jump cuts which is where that comes from and makes him a dangerous receiver. On top of that he went to plant high school here in Tampa which is notorious for producing college and NFL athletes, a couple of his teammates are in the league already so I believe he was overshadowed by them. His hands were also questioned at the time as well. Which is why NDSU was his best offer. Now that he’s 6’4 208 (and will most likely get bigger as his career progresses) with top end speed from track, and agility from his running back experience in combination with Aaron Rodgers I truly believe he’s going to be something special. One thing I will also say, Christian is not one of these athletes who just gets by on his talent and puts in minimum work. He’s been working hard at this from a young age, one of the smartest, hard working, competitive, and passionate players I’ve played with. So don’t doubt his ability to grow in the league. I’m happy to see it all the hard work pay off for him. Can’t wait to see him show the world what he’s got.

I wanted to drop a quick thank you here in the comments section. Back in April during my dynasty draft, I was excited about Christian Watson and his potential on the Packers, but everyone was so quick to dismiss him because of his "drop issues" and the fact he went to a smaller school. I found your video, watched it multiple times, and drated Watson over players that were ranked higher like Jahan Dotson, Kenny Pickett, Skyy Moore, George Pickens & Jameson Williams. My whole league has been roasting me since, especially with the drop week 1 and his injuries over the past couple months. Long story short, now Watson is leading the Pakcers in targets, has 5 TDs in four days, and looks like a unstoppable freak of nature while doing it. Have to give credit where credit is due!

I got Drake London, Garrett Wilson twice and Olave at 1.10 although Watson got picked at 1.05. Anyways, as a Packers fan, I'm definitely hyped to see him catch TDs from AR12!!!! GPG!!! This is as excited as I've been for an offensive pick since Eddie Lacy (Fat Eddie was literally throwing tacklers through the air in college, don't get it twisted, dude could ball). Just wait til he has someone like Rodgers throwing him the rock and isn't stuck in such a "run first" offense. Kid should be able to produce in various ways year one like go routes, gadget plays and sweeps and develop into a premier receiver. He also likes to block. Team first kind of guy. Humble kid with a great attitude and work ethic and happens to be a freak of an athlete.
