Actually you have to pay $300 more for the iPhone pro max so I'll take the pixel 8 pro. Most consumers don't do hardcore gaming on their phones so all that power is useless in normal day to day.

Exactly. iPhone may have a faster processor, but in actuality, the Pixel doesn't need all that power to function just as fast. Sometimes Pixel can open apps quicker than iPhone can. I don't play games, but that's not to say that Pixel can't handle 99.8% of the games out there. It only struggles on the very high end games. But, iPhone also thermals down on these games as well, so there's that. This is why I went with Pixel 8 Pro over iPhone 15 Pro Max this year.

If i were to mix phones to make the ultimate phone i would: 1.pixels still photos and processing 2.iphones video 3. Samsungs zoom 4. Samsungs snapdragon 8gen 2 for Samsung chip 5. pixels software and ai features 6. Battery life from the s23 ultra 7. Software support from pixel (7 years) 8. Back glass and stuff from samsung 9. Brightness from pixel 10. Charging from tlge oppo or redmi phones( I'm talking about the chaorging in 10min stuff

Absolutely nailed it bro. Been on the pixel series since day 1 and feels so disappointing to see even the likes of iphone 12 mini giving better video quality than most of the newer pixels and not to mention the front camera. For photography no match but not a vlog friendly phone.

I have both of them and you are right when it comes to cameras , the pixel takes the best still photos while iPhones videography is unmatched. However, if you aren’t a tech nerd you are probably better off with the iPhone 12 Pro and any phone from 4 years ago

Google sold me a defective pixel 6. Then they refused to tell me where to take it. They ignored me for 6 months then gave me a bill for a defective phone I never used. So they don’t care once it leaves the building and they have no repair center and zero support once you buy one.

I also think iPhones are a lot more stable and consistent. Pixels are notorious for having bugs, connectivity issues, and a lot more .

My pixel 7a can shoot videos at 4k 60fps

OnePlus 12 ftw, they fixed the cameras this time around from everything I've seen so they can actually compete with other flagship level phones. They've also got 100W wired charging with 50W wireless. For reference the newest Samsung 24 ultra can only do 45W wired charging... uses the same processor as the new Samsungs too

I’d say my preference would be to wait for the s24 if you want android and not iPhone . The tensor g3 will be miles off the snapdragon 8 gen 3 in performance and battery efficiency.

Something most iphone users dont understand is android has come a long way. Its not really about the specs on paper anymore because those specs dont really translate greatly into the real world. Its more based on preference. I love my pixel 8 pro, i can use my moms iphone 14 pro max and they feel the same in terms of speed, despite the 14 pro max being faster on paper. For me, googles stock ui and the smoothness of google phones win me over. For others, apple may be more preferable for many reasons. You may dislike both and prefer samsung or oneplus or poco ir xiaomi. All newer flagship android amd iphones have very similar performance, the difference will be in the feel and cameras, even though most flagships will have great cameras anyways. The last iPhone I had was a 6s before I swapped to a galaxy A10 because I wanted to try android. The A10 was somewhat slower but I liked the layout of it. Haven't gone back to iPhone since

iPhones consistently have better or the same battery life as androids. I had a Pixel 4 and the battery life and performance was terrible a year after I got it. Google really dropped the ball with that model and they never should’ve released it. Love apple or hate them but they’ve never released a bad iPhone (except maybe the 6 with “bendgate”)

At least the pixel dosent burn down and get to 90 degrees Celsius every time you use it

Will never buy Pixel with Tensor processor it’s basically custom exynos with fancy name, it should be classified as midrange device, better wait for galaxy S24 ultra with SD 8 Gen 3 with great AI capabilities, pixel should be priced no more than £600.
