Healthcare is never straightforward. It depends on your home country. For us as Americans traveling full-time with trips to the US only about three weeks per year, Cigna global health has worked out well. We have a high deductible Silver policy that keeps our monthly premiums more affordable to us than other options. It also limits how much medical care you can receive in the US. For us since healthcare in the US is so expensive, we don't think it's necessary to be back in the States to get good care. We have been able to pay for things out of pocket and mostly reserve the insurance for catastrophic events. We don't have chronic health conditions that require us to be under a doctor's care, and Cigna may exclude certain chronic health conditions. Unfortunately, there are compromises with everything, but it's been working for us. People who aren't full-time travelers often use Safety Wing, but we don't have experience with them. Here are a few encounters with healthcare outside of the US. -Judy 🎥 Surgery in Serbia: kzread.info/dash/bejne/c2ak1ZR7kdrfd9o.html 🎥 Medical care in Thailand: kzread.info/dash/bejne/oq2k1JprlMe9d5s.html

Hi Enrique, We LOVE Paris! What you see in this video are things we did over the course of five weeks. We really only do tours on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays and then we are working on Wednesdays through Saturdays. If we saw everything there is to see in a week, we would be exhausted, too! It's all about pacing yourself! For the most part, we've been in one place for at least a month. Since we don't get any recovery time as full-time travelers, we give ourselves down days, and those are a necessity. We hope you had a great trip! Thanks for watching! -Judy

@@FindingGinaMarieThank you, Judy. I carefully organized my time in Paris, with large swaths of time between planned sites in order not to rush myself. Only twice did I find myself rushing. The tour inside "Pere La Chaise" ran long because I befriended Becky, our guide and stayed longer to see some composers that her friend who was there by chance showed me. I had to rush to get to my Arc de Triomphe ticket time, which a painful time which I didn't solve until later - and another was my visit to the Place de Concorde and the Louvre, I mistook the Louvre time by two hours because I thought it was for 4 PM. But I got momentarily confused with 14:00 and had to walk the long trek to the Pyramid entrance non-stop at a fast clip for 30 minutes. I found out something crucial about my socks. I had pulled them up to the top, they were compression type. My very old friend Jacques noticed that I was compressing an artery near my knee which was debilitating me after only a short walk! He suggested I pull it down much lower. Lo and behold! No more walking pain! I had to train for weeks to build up my leg strength! But one of my successes, was after Jacques had rehabilitated me, when I walked the entire length of the stairs at the Butte Montmartre up to the Sacre Coeur! ♥♥♥

Sounds like you managed to do a lot, and even seasoned travelers get the times wrong on occasion! What a good and observant friend Jacques is; your walking situation does not sound like it was fun. One of our most memorable experiences of the Sacre Coeur was when vendors were set up illegally and watching them bundle up their blanket and run while they were being chased by police! Thank you so much for sharing your experiences. We absolutely love hearing them! -Judy
