I realize that this song was most likely written to be a spiritual sequel to "get ya head in the game" but the conflict in that song is Troy having a hard time choosing between basketball or singing (Gabriella). Second there's a diffrence between wanting something to be cannon, even if you worked on it, and it actually being cannon. Case in point, the head writers behind phineas and ferb liking Beaufort and baljeet ship but not making it cannon. Third, what if you're just projecting.
