Her another movie in Bengali was ADALAT O EKTI MEYE and it was based on true life story. We stay in Mumbai went to Mukherjee Bari during Durga puja and met her incidentally. Till today we all remember that meeting 😍💐

Tanuja has the unique distinction of acting in the fastest song Bollywood has ever witnessed till today. Hats off to O.P.Nayyar who composed the song "Tu auron ki kyon ho gayi" (from the movie 'Ek Baar Muskura do') that runs with a speed of bullet train. No song has broken the record of its top speed till now. The orchestra players of guitar & kettle drums have had their fingers kept at their agile best in the interlude. Our spirit gets a quick hyper elevation during the song. Two more songs of her which are my all-time favourites did not get the popularity they deserved. The songs "Chahe Raho door.. Chahe Raho Paas (Do Chor)" with Dharmendra and "Roz Shaam Aati Thi Magar Aise na thi (Imtihaan)" with Vinod Khanna are always pleasing on ears. I too strongly feel that Tanuja did not get adequate credit she rightfully deserved. We sincerely wish.... "May God bless her with good health in the valedictory part of her life ! "

Baharen phir bhi ayenge I remember seeing when I was a cadet in the national defence academy,pune in 1967. I was withdrawn , and i came back with her song baharen phir bhi ayengi on my lips ever since ,which stood as a prop always and all ways, because times were not conducive to modern thinking and endeavour. The system was and still is quite conservative,and like many I had to make a way thru it using a hell of a lot of patience. That patience I got from your song baharen phir bhi ayengi. Thank you Mme .Tanuja if you or any of your well wishing dears might read this. I have been a winner on my own steam with the music of ur song always on my lips. Love.
