Good luck Billy! I hope he can just stay in the pocket & sing in a relaxed way. It's so easy to go sharp on television, especially when trying to push a song like Man in the Mirror. His voice is made for songs like Gary Barlow's Rule the World and Million Love Songs. That's where people can enjoy his incredible tone. I hope the show helps him get into that groove.

I don't understand how he didn't win. Probably the biggest error the Voice has ever made, though rarely do these reality shows get it right. I'm just glad he's doing well. He really is such a great singer, and I'm glad that he found his true voice and his true self. It takes so much courage. I do remember him singing dream a dream with Charlotte Church.

Billy's parents are awesome. Not all parents are that accepting that their child is gay. There was a young man, first name Jonathan, and he auditioned on AGT roughly 3 years ago and he told the judges that on his 18th birthday, his parents kicked him out of the house all because he was gay. Wow! Happy birthday son, you get to leave this house that you've called home for 18 years and never come back. That absolutely broke my heart. I have two grown sons, and I know it would have been a shock but it wouldn't stop my love for them.

Billy Gilman is also from Rhode Island which is a blue state. Country music is all from the south. The south is very prejudice.

@@musicgirl999 I was stunned when Billy had auditioned for The Voice and he talked about singing country as a boy. I thought he loved country, but as an adult, that's not what he wants to sing. I really don't care what he sings because I love his voice, I just wish Adam would have followed through and gotten Billy a manager who would have put him on the map. Billy got screwed.

The oldest video of Billy's uploaded to KZread is 14 years old. It's not likely he would have even heard of KZread by that point, as it was still in it's infancy, before Google bought them out.

Billy has true courage, to tell his fans, he is gay.Personaly I don't care that he is gay.If a person is gay,that should not be held against them.God made them that way.He is beautiful person.He is extremely talented singer.He is extremely involved with charities, that he supports.He can say he helped raise 2.6 billon dollars,for MDA.Because he did.He is a truly a beautiful caring loveing man.We need more people like him.This country and world 🌎, would be awesome place to live.

He was likely snubbed the victory because he was open about his sexuality from the start, and many of these shows market themselves to a world audience. AI did it to Adam Lambert and Clay Aiken too. Both went on to outsell their victors.
