I'm loving Dave's timely pauses lately. With the comedy reactions he's really got down when the bit is turning the corner, and pauses to let the Blokes all discuss the previous part. That is great for a reaction channel.

Good point tbh. So many times I've watched reactions where they paused it at retarded moments to discuss and I've just turned it off.
Bill and his wife Nia are just great because yes they don't think the same, they're both outspoken, but they still respect (and love) each other. THAT'S why they can have deep arguments and laugh at exactly the same time

@@mjg6233 76% of the U.S. is white while 13% is black... Elvis took the music that was only getting 13% of the population and made it known to everyone. In turn that gives the rest of the genre spotlight from all the people who like it. Why couldn't the 76% just find it from the source? Probably racism... Every generation is getting farther and farther away from that bullshit though, good riddance.

Best reaction to that bit I’ve seen. That whole special is great. It and the one in black and white are my favorites.
Love you guys!
Elvis acknowledged where he got his music from “The colored folks been singing it and playing it just like I’m doin' now, man, for more years than I know. They played it like that in their shanties and in their juke joints and nobody paid it no mind 'til I goosed it up. I got it from them. Down in Tupelo, Mississippi, I used to hear old Arthur Crudup bang his box the way I do now and I said if I ever got to a place I could feel all old Arthur felt, I'd be a music man like nobody ever saw."

@@jermed2001 There’s literally LOADS of quotes where he credits black artists who came before him. There’s a video called “Elvis and the Black Community” which describes some of it. How he said “Chuck Berry should be called The King of Rock and Roll, not me,” and how when Jackie Wilson was dying penniless, he personally paid for his retirement home finances. I can link you to it, because I know since it disproves your entire argument, you won’t watch it. People don’t want to learn about anything, they just want to ride the ignorance train and then deny that it ever got derailed.

Bill Burr is from Boston, and that is the attitude of most Bostonians, I grew up there and my entire family is like that.
Man this content is super good!
I saw him on his "50" tour where he was doing the material for Paper Tiger at Madison Square Garden. He actually left a couple of bits out of the special because they were too edgy even for him and would have been a bit risky for Netflix. But live, the crowd loved it.
Seeing Bill this week, got the last ticket available and it was front row!

I mean even if he did give them a shout out, she’s not wrong that there’s a history of white people culturally appropriating black culture and profiting off it. As a non-native speaker of the language I am familiar enough with the culture and history and slang...etc. that I understand a lot of the references, but I needed someone to explain the flying part at the end. At first I thought it was a bit...obscure. I just didn't get that he was referring to the invention of planes by the Wright brothers, and the taking of commercial flights, as being some white people shit. Don't know why I didn't immediately get it, even though the skateboarding bit was a perfect setup. But, then, I watched a lot of reaction videos where Americans didn't get the joke either.
