Everything the club does is turned into a headline by these flogs. They’ve tried taking down Shane Richardson multiple times since he joined the club even though he’s just come in and gone about his work behind the scenes. They cried “conflict of interest” when we signed Faatape meanwhile the face of their show Anasta is a f***ing player agent, if that’s not a conflict of interest, idk what is. Idk why but Fox has had an agenda against the Tigers for years, as a fan I just want to go and watch my team play footy, all the headlines and media scrutiny is so tiresome.

Coaching isn’t a job. It is a calling. The great coaches are not working , they are coaching.

Because they are too busy trying to thump their chests and try talk like they know everything about the game. Even though they’ve never played, coached or had any other reputable experience in this, the greatest game in the world or any other sport. They have no articulable claim to fame other than sitting behind a typewriter or word processor and try and portray they have an idea. They are the modern day media trolls, that for some unknown reason get paid for all the gear and no idea!

anyone notice Kent had to backflip a couple times... claimed Benji plays golf twice a week, when pressed it changed to, he gets a round in sometimes (he is allowed days off right?) claimed Benji only works 6 hours a day, when pressed, oh I dont know what hours he does but its not as many as other coaches.... cant trust a thing that man says, his hardest hitting piece he every did was hitting his misses

@@thesorrow88Courts don’t always get it correct. Jack De Belin should be in prison right now based on what he did and what he admitted but he got off because of a mistrial due to one person voting against in the jury. OJ Simpson was a murderer and he got off.

What is clear from that discussion is that with the possible exception of Braith none of the panel have been inside a modern workplace, the very thought that someone working for 18 hrs a day is effective is ridiculous, there is a limit to the ability of humans to function at peak levels and 18 hrs is well beyond that. Good leaders and good mangers (BTW can’t be one without the other) know how to put the quality into the day. The hero leader stuff that Kent was spouting is as relevant to modern coaching as starting a biff to win a game was in the 80’s a thing of the past. Maybe time to get out of the newsroom and the 1980’s view of the workplace and see what’s happened over the last 40yrs.

If a team needs 100 hrs coaching a week there is something seriously wrong.

if his coaching style works and improves the tigers immensely on and off the field especially the culture then credit to him but I doubt it considering the team he has taken over. with Benji's attitude it's bad already considering the tigers history, culture etc. getting an ex player to coach when he has played with a team or a good portion of the team is a bad idea and fitler is a perfect example of that when he took over. coaching as a "friend or mate" doesn't work.

Can Paul Kent please follow Benji’s lead and work a lot less
