@@nadialynn7025 because LOL (as you said above) naturally skinny women like myself ignorantly and/or insensitivity get branded as having “something wrong with us” such as having an eating disorder, being on drugs, and/or going through some sort of hardship when something may not be wrong at all. A lot of people seem to be assuming she either has an eating disorder or some other event happening to her. Granted, she does look very unlike how she was in the past and it is alarming and scary to see that she’s noticeably lost a lot of weight when she was beautiful already. However, I don’t think we should all jump to conclusions so fast as to what may be the case. We should all instead hope for the best, wish her well, and hope that she has a loving and caring support system to help her for whatever is going on.

Her mother Yolanda didn’t let Gigi and Bella eat she told them to have 2 almonds when they were weak from starving She told them they like the girls “skinnier” in Milan I definitely think it’s fair to assume this weight loss didn’t just happen on its own. The fashion industry does not expect this. But bella hadid is a huge name and is therefore being used for a lot of shows. Look at other models. Theres curtain measurements thats called “the ideal” but these measurements are not to be bone skinny like in the 90’s. Theres way more focus on models health nowadays and showing different body types.

​@@ibenlander2496 man I'm a model and I can tell you that it's more about luck than about measurements, Bella didn't need that, she was slim with curves, wich is one of the requirements of the actual beauty standards. Also there are models with those characteristics, like Iman Hamman, Adut Akech, Anok Yai, even Naomi. She only needed and still has to improve her walking wich is also something she nailed with time. The problem was the low confidence in herself caused by Yolanda and her family itself and people's comparisons with her sister Gigi. Bella was even pushed into plastic surgery at 13, with a nose job that she regrets, she had suffered a lot.

It made me so mad when the Weeknd mocked her face in his superbowl show cause while she's had cosmetic surgery, her face shows her dramatic weight loss from a suspected eating disorder and he had the nerve to get on stage and mock the way she looks. Even if it was a messy breakup, it's absolutely disgusting from him

She also has Lyme disease (which I also have) and that can cause both weight loss and weight gain. Another thing that happens with Lyme very typically is that stress affects our bodies different than the average person and is amplified which could also contribute to fluctuation in weight (extreme anxiety/ depression, etc) I also know that Lyme diseases can be connected to EDs in rare cases. Lyme just affects everyone’s bodies differently so that could be a major factor in that weight loss 🤷‍♀️

Try telling that to the people screaming that she has an eating disorder. Lyme is really hard on the body. I've seen people having seizures from it. I was looking after a woman who would get so sick during a flare, her husband would have to carry her to the car, and then into the surgery. She was in so much pain, she could barely move. She had also lost a lot of weight, despite being slim already.

So if everyone is calling her unhealthy, ugly and skeletton, what would others be. Like maybe she wants that with her body and it's part of modelling at the end of the day ans she still seems happy and healthy. im sorry but NO. not everyone is “beautiful as they are” some people are ugly and some people are mid, face the facts. now bella is actually stunning but this is an obvious ed/ unhealthy. her before was healthy and stunning but (probably from her mothers influence) she lost a DRASTIC ammount of weigh quickly which is unhealthy and it looks scary and skeletal, the buccal fat removal isnt helping either. it’s just sad and i hope she gets the help she needs

Imo this is beyond just working hard. I've had an ED and it looks similar in the gauntness of her face, and you can see it in her eyes but I may be wrong. Apparently she had the buccal fat removed which is why her cheeks have gone from full and youthful but EDs also do that. Idk just hope she's okay. She puts an awful lot of pressure on herself outside of the fact that she's got pressure on her from so so so many other people

This made me sob cause if anybody had friends with eating disorders they know this stage. Bella is such a sweet young woman doesn't matter if she's so popular and rich nobody deserves to go through such thing! And it's the worst that's developing in her mid 20s cause so many have horrible health issues from it around now. It's just scary to think of how long this was probably happening but only now it became more visible.

As someone underweight this made me so insecure. Weights shouldn’t be compared. Imagine if someone made a before and after weight GAIN video for say, LANA del rey everyone would be so mad and be like she’s pretty both ways (when being overweight is as unhealthy as being underweight if not more)!! It’s only body positivity until it’s someone skinny…she had LYME DISEASE which drastically affected her health, so let’s not spend our days commenting on other people’s bodies and creating insecurities from them when we don’t know what or why it happened and their body and weight isn’t our business!!!

We need to understand that she’s quite literally sick. She’s been battling a disease and it’s getting worse, it’s to rhe point that it makes it hard for her to eat. So let’s be kinder and not pick apart her body pls.

The modelling and fashion industry need to be rid of its toxic unhealthy ways, physically, mentally, emotionally.

I don't know whether she takes drugs or not, but I think she does have a lot of other health problems like lyme disease. I have had lyme disease chronically and it can cause a lot of physical effects like being underweight and looking unhealthy even if you're trying to take care of yourself.

Her condition is really getting concerning, she looked so pretty and she looked expecially happier... the industry of modeling and toxic parents can really ruin a young girl's life... I hope it doesn't get worse, poor Bella...❤

Seeing all the horrible comments degrading her body and name calling it when she’s been suffering from Lyme disease and has been very open about what it’s doing to her. Let’s be more cautious of what we say about other’s bodies

thank you. the amount of people commenting on her body before having any idea what she’s going through is so sad. if they knew what she was actually going through, they’d probably be sick with themselves for saying such mean things to a person battling a disease :,(
