the problem is you can stop literally every single one of those methods by changing only a few things on the "one wall thick" designs. here is how to defeat all of your methods making a bedrock box using fixes that require bedrock: 1. make the walls too thick to chorus fruit through 2. walls more than 3 blocks thick will never confer damage. stop any other player from giving them items from below by extending the walls of the prison to natural bedrock, or, float the prison (make another bedrock chamber below the prison chamber itself to catch any items sent from below) 3. stop ender pearl glitch from below by extending the walls of the prison to natural bedrock, with the extended walls being at least two thick. 4. when building the prison, build an nether portal inside and go through: Make a bedrock cube large enough to block the building of any portals that would correspond to prison coordinates 5. make pyramids of bedrock outside the prison on all sides 6. force the player to set spawn inside the prison (or use command line to force their spawn inside the prison) then kill them, breaks the stasis. other objection that we haven't implemented a visiting system: don't allow visitors

This is the thing I don’t get. If we’re talking access to creative mode for me to build it with only blocks found in the world (no barriers blocks). I 1000% can make a prison that no-one can escape and be done in an hour max.

The Ice orb prison could of actually been impossible to escape had they place less elder guardian and make the Lava high and make a greater distance between the platform and the lava wall. So he could of not been able to touch the obsidian if the obsidian were farther away or farther up and replace with lava so it would of been impossible to escape since there be more lava and it would of been farther so he can not even touch the lava and in the above part the obsidian should of been replace with lava. just it all lava all around alot lava above as well so there just no way

SeenSven: making "inescapable" prisons Me a intellectual: If you can put multiple stacks of blocks in a shulker box you could technically fit steve inside since he's only 2 blocks tall and a block wide that would technically mean that the shulker box has more space on the inside than the outside. So does that mean that shulker boxs have interdimensional properties? I don't know. But back to the point, if shulker boxs is conformed of more mass inside then outside that means that you could have a travelable prison that warden could keep on him at all times. Also then put that shulker box in a another prison just to make it harder and have the warden carry the shulker box inside the prison so its impossible for someone to help them escape without killing the warden and his bodyguards.

i am preparing an education edition prison simaler to pandoras vault. this video really helped me. thank you and this is so good for a bedrock rant.

ten block thick (or however thick to prevent chorus fruiting) made all out of bedrock, built on the bottom of the world to prevent dropper/dispenser from below, not in hard mode, kill them first so they can't use ender pearl stasis. also, to prevent the bedrock-breaking glitch, make the top wall go right up to build height - how do you get out of that?

I'm interested with this concept as a whole, even when prisons in minecraft aren't practical at all. (If a bed is used to keep you in, fake the bed spawn before going in the cell, or just run away and keep dying/log off until they leave) But I feel like adding a prison system around the bedrock box will do wonders on keeping the prison secured. Its not a end all solution, but it will do wonders for sure. A block unbreakable is very appealing.

I love when they make obsidian cells completely out of obsidian and you just take out your flint and steel. Also the crying obsidian in dreams peison actually has a use, no portals

Chorus fruit: applies to every other prison, if you say lava walls, then just add it to the bedrock box, sorted Killing the player: Bedtrap them, make your walls thicker multiple blocks thicker, plus this once again applies to lots of different prisons Giving Items through the floor: Applies to other prisons, can be circumvented by just having a 1 block gap underneath the prison floor or lava walls/floor Epearl glitching: can be circumvented by just making your walls even thicker so the player will suffocate (ok yeah I continued watching and you pointed this out but still) Nether Portal: Applies to every other prison, can be circumvented with making your cell smaller Bedrock Breaking: this is a good point I won't deny, but it's *way* easier to break any other block, since at least you don't have to set up a whole redstone machine Stasis Chamber: I know you pointed out it applies to every other prison, but just because you point it out doesn't mean the problem doesn't exist Visiting: this isn't necessary for it to be a prison (I'm assuming you mean it like a prisoner can get visitor system) Overall, most of these points apply to every other prison buildable, and yes, you say the more we add the closer it gets to being buildable in survival, but this is Bedrock we're talking about, not easily breakable obsidian Yes, Bedrock prisons have flaws, but so does every prison, so saying they are the WORST prison imaginable is waaaaaaay too harsh (Also sorry for being harsh in this comment but it was in the back of my head and I just wanted to get it out lol)

Even if you got bedrock (it is possible I beleive) and managed to grind all that you'd need, it still wouldn't contribute much. Almost all of Mytrodak's attempts have exploited other things that don't require any obsidian breaking.

Alone escape idea: exit the game and relog every so often. If someone else is passing by, a monster may spawn ( since it's empty - no light) and if it's an enderman you can farm pearls and glitch out.

Mobs can't spawn on bedrock, it's not a solid block(like glass) That's why you don't see mobs on nether ceiling, unless you make platforms out of other blocks

I remember back in the day.. I had fallen into a 2 block deep hole of bedrock in survival literally RIGHT AFTER putting my entire inventory into a chest.... Good times.

I was thinking about a multi-layered bedrock wall, essentially you keep the box (2x2) but you also add multiple bedrock boxes around it

Just an idea. And bedrock addition at least, there’s a way to make the walls of a cobblestone generator on breakable. Kind of like the rays works prison, just by put a bunch of gravel or sand into a 2-1 bubble elevator it crams the hit boxes so much that it makes it so they can’t break any thing. It is still super escapable with ender pearls tho.

The truest prison might just be a redstone computer that creates a DDOS attack on the targeted player. Without command blocks and including some possible other items that don't even exist yet.

@@dhans2881 lag the server to stop the system (redstone is based on tps) and get the prisoner out. Turn down the render distance too.

You can fix a couple of these issues. 1. Chorus fruiting in can be fixed by making the walls super thick on all sides. Expensive but an easy solution. 2. Using glitches to break the bedrock can be avoided by giving it an uneven exterior shape but a square interior. 3. Items being funnelled into the prison can be prevented. Hollow out a 1 block tall area below the cell to catch items that people try to funnel in. Keep it two blocks below the prisoners actual cell so there's no chance of them being picked up through the floor. Granted this doesn't fix all the issues, but it fixes the most obvious ones

idk, I feel like a lot of these points could be counteracted with a good build plan. the only problematic part seems to be the prisoner having an ender pearl stasis chamber somewhere. overall, not having to worry about compensating for the ability for others to break the blocks seems like it'd be a pretty good advantage for designing an inescapable prison

that reminds me of one of my smartest moments. so basically there were these servers where everyone had their own plot and creative, and you could invite people over to your plot and crap. well one time there was this secret room that i couldn't see inside of or do anything with, so to see what was inside i went into spectator mode to look inside it was a minecraft sex room

I remember just using World Edit, with barriers where people couldn't pass them, or TP out, and upon death they'd get TP'd back. Had a plugin where the in jail time could be a set amount, though I don't remember if we forced it to be in game time.

Almost all of these ideas work for warded blocks of the Thaumic Augmentations for Thaumcraft 6 and previous iterations of Thaumcraft as well, so the only bonus of using warded blocks is that they look prettier.

Use the fill command in repeating command blocks to make indestructible 3 block thick walls, ceiling and floor. But also use repeating command blocks to fill 5 blocks each side of the prison with air, also do it with the inside. Then, set the spawn of the prisoner using /spawnpoint.

I remember fighting the wither with my brother a few years ago, and in the aftermath of its destruction, there was a block of bedrock just chilling in a pile of cobblestone. Neither of us went in creative (we used split screen, so I could tell if he went into creative mode), and I was really confused looking through my inventory and seeing a block of bedrock

IIRC on 2b2t a social experiment was performed using a bunch of Elder Guardians and a massive obsidian maze. That was pretty close to inescapable. Naturally there'd be ways to get out, but that seems like a decent first step.

From what you've said, with the exception of visiting, you could make an inescapable prizon by building first, an extra air pocket below, with lava trap for those ender pearlers, and lava trap the side walls while also making it really thick with air pockets. If you make it thick enough, you could just have them suffocate before being able to get there, and as for the top, don't make it flat...

This way, items can't get through the bottom, and if they do, they stop before getting there, and what not. Damage can not get through the wall, as it's too thick, and as far as I can tell, inescapable... If there's any problems with my ideas, please tell me so I can come up with an edit and make it even better...

@@ActuallyFunnerL fixed that by building a prizon in the same spot at the Nether just 3 times bigger. I didn't say 3 times bigger, but building it in the Nether too would take away that line of travel

You could find workouts. Thicker walls to stop damage, a lava pool under the floor to stop items coming up. Can you use maybe, command blocks? I don't know how they work. Suppose, If player goes beyond coordinates XYZ - XYZ, teleport the player to XYZ. Then you just need one command block for however many players you may be hosting at one time. Then escape is impossible. Getting bedrock means you can get command blocks, so learning how they work might be the way to go. Then you can decorate the prison however you like.

the item dispensing one can be stopped by leaving a block under the bedrock tower the chorus fruit can be hindered, but not stopped, by placing the box in a place where going outside would mean death or just not work, for example, the nether above a pool of lava, high in the sky, underground ender pearl glitch can be stopped by thick walls the nether portal glitch can be stopped by making the cell not big/tall enough for a portal to fit the rest? idk

i was one of those who waited for so long for this to actually premiere

Something that I've done before is go down to a certain bedrock pattern that is 2 blocks deep, build some security around it, then boom. Inescapable.

You can break out of any prison by making an alt, then tricking the owner to whitelisting it and using it to break yourself out.

I likely would have to chunk ban the guards during a prisoner being added, or ender pearl passed the chunk border, getting into the control room and place and obsidian block to use crystal pvp. Or if I'm on a bedrock equivalent, a multishot crossbow with harming arrows to one shot kill the guards(Even with a totem). Once done with that, break any respawn points for the guards and lock them out of the prison. Use the now infinite time to break a way out of the prison.

@@SeenSven go high up and build tnt dupers attached to flying machines lined up to the chunkbans. Launch them and they break the chunkbans systems. Now anyone can get in. Tunnel from below and use glitches/mods to freecam and fing the exact location of the cell while all guards are asleep irl. Dug underneath the prison to the cell and straight up. I bring a cow and buckets to stop mining fatigue. Then I set up a clock that activates the full prison chunkbans after an hour. When the guards realise, I'm long gone. I leave a chunk loader inside the redstone mechanics, undetectable due to the complexity of the prison. The clock finally runs out and the guards can't log in anymore.

We had a bedrock cell in a server I was in and we thought that if someone found a way to escape we would use command blocks to set their spawn on repeat and if they got out we would use a repeating command block that tped them to the center of the cell on loop making movement impossible until the sentence was done

a way you could break people out is getting a whole bunch of tree saplings (jungle saplings work best) and place them under the prison. bone meal the tree saplings, and you have a 20-40 block tall pillars of destruction that can convert anything to jungle leaves or jungle wood. this will only work with certain prisons, as some prisons you cant get to the outside to do this trick.

A 1x1 cell that has bedrock walls going from the bottom to the top and placing the prisoner in a random location inside the prison so no one knows where the prisoner is and you can maybe fit a bed in the cell to so he always respawns there then you can feed the prisoner by having a dropper under the prisoner to feed him also you should make the surface jagged and very thick and have a thing wich kicks anyone around the prison

@@ItzBirb2 yes tru but they could just find a different spot to dispense it plus they could remove the lava using a pearl glitch underbedrock pass the chunk ban thing splash fire res and get to remove the lava

What if: You create a room in a vertical rectangular shape, surround it with 5 block thick walls, but leave a open space between the 2 blocks outside the cell and the 2 inside the cell's walls incase any items come through there, and put lava in these holes to delete the items/ burn invaders. You could also put cacti incase the invader has fire resistance. Or you could leave a 2 block gap and have 2 guards patrolling. The food dispensers in the prison would be at the ceiling and the guards "on" the cell would composter glitch to watch the prisoner(this would be impossible with cacti/lava fills iirc) In order to have a visiting room, make one like the one in glacier's orb. DO NOT FILL THE FLOOR WITH WATER! if the a visitor who tried to help the prisoner falls he would die. In order for max security, 1 Guard must literally be in the cell, but not in the prisoner's reach, nor the visitor's one. If he logs off he should surround himself with obsidian/crying one. Also, because there would be elder guardians of course, give the guards efficiency V and silk touch picks. All of this should be Underground, near bedrock levels, to make the prisoner have a really hard time. Also, to have the prisoner respawning every time, make sure to have more than 1 bed at your disposal(around 10 should be more than enough) If we want to go full-on max here, you can bring several hostile mobs to the prison(Eg. Illagers, Zoglins) and let them be in the corridors. The guards will have special 1 block tunnels to avoid them, but the visitor will be transported through the main hallways, with the mobs killed, then a new supply of them being brought back. The best area for the undeground prison would be bellow a ocean, preferably a ocean monument to have guardians. The perimeter in the nether should also be guared by at least 1 guard, with help from piglins. Since you already have bedrock, surround the entire prison with it(Underground only) incase someone tries to break in/the prisoner tries to mine out. Like in Gaia's Vault, a chunk banning system would also be required, along with the suicide button. To enter the prison, one must first enter the underground "metro" which is a rail tunnel that is pretty long. I hope i helped with the next prison design lol

If u use command blocks so when someone tries to break in/out the cell just clones and moves to a different area and tp people into the cell when they brake it. And if the cell is reconstructed every time it clones, no one gets in or out. But there is the fact of corse fruit and pearls.

Twist, build the prison in the air with layers of bedrock blocks in a checkerboard pattern that extends 4-8 blocks. Can't teleport, too far away to damage with potions/TNT, and can't glitch items through the ground.

Once my friend made a bedrock box and put me in it, but forgot to change the dirt floor. Took them a solid 30 minutes to figure out how I got out

Actually, trapping Mithrodak is really easy. All his escapes rely on fooling the guards. Just get rid of the guards, lol.

You could just add 500000 layers of security orrrrrrrr you could use bedrock breaking glitches in mass to create a void under the prison, and only 1 block for the prisoner to stand on not including the bed.

Bedrock is useful for making a prison used as the exoskeleton of the prison. It's possible to make a prison impossible to escape in the cell if you don't get any help from outside the cell. Of course it's impossible to make a prison that can stop outsiders trying to break the prisoner out even with the best security measures.

surround the cell in an aoe that clears inv, and tps the person in/out. fill the entire cell with structure void blocks to prevent placed blocks (because im dumb and dont know how to do the trick with the ender crystals), surround the cell in regenerating cobblestone, and water floors. (its still very much possible to break in/out though but its a little better than a bedrock box)

You can fix the ender pearl and item glitch by making the entire thing 20 blocks thick and having every other layer be water and lava alternating,and add chunk bans

A bedrock box with a 1x1x2 space in the middle at max build height and with lots of guards with 100 block thick bedrock walls. (Only works on normal or easy), or add water at the bottom and add a heavily guarded item pipe under with lingering water breathing and splash water breathing.

"If you're alone, you can't escape." OK, architect panda, what about your prison with all your security vs one person outside with withers, tnt and est? Everything could be build or destroy in this game, so, what's a point to you both struggle? For lulz?

you can keep and ender pearl stasis chamber with a daylight detector and each time you tp to the chamber you can put another pearl inside. you also can put the daylight detector to night or day depending on the situation if its night then put it to day if its day put it to night. that easy you can't counter the ender pearl stasis chamber.

When me and my friends used to play creative on school computers(education edition) i ised to mess with my friend by taking his op, clearing his inventory, putting him in a 1x1 bedrock box with no light and then put his gamemode in survival

Idea: make a bedrock prison in the air, and then with commands, make it to where you cant place any blocks. it solves chorus fruit and building to prison issues, as well as the mining below method. Watch Mythrodak escape that.

Bedrock in a prison = useless. (Thanks for the video Sven, now I can share it to everyone spamming me with "JUST USE A BEDROCK BOXXXX")
