I'seen some rare interviews where May acted like a total dick. Even walked out on a guy for starting the interview by asking him how he was doing was he feeling ok. May is a good guitarist but the real true talent and popularity behind Queen was Freddie Mercury.

I was never an Axl fan but "Pigeons of shit metal" did make me laugh

I was at the show Eagles of Death Metal played at and yeah, they did not go over well. And those were Axl's exact words from the stage about them, lol. I believe CKY were openers on the show too (may have been another date) but they went over fine and put on a great show and had nothing but good things to say about their time on the tour.

Will Grover I was at that Cleveland show as well. I actually enjoyed the EODM set and have listened to them since. The other openers were Sebastian Bach and the Suicide Girls. CKY opened for GNR in 2002 with Mix Master Mike.

You should do a vid about why you like them so very much. Like what drew you to them. Hey I’ll do one if you interview me and tell you why I’m a far.... you could do a whole series of interviews about why yours fans love them

Such a great band, I first learned of them from Headbangers Ball playing their videos. Should of gotten much more attention in America.

I was actually a fan of Kings Of The Sun. Guess I still am. Serpentine is a great tune

People dont realize what being a real actual junkie is.... Guns N Roses had five of them. it's absolute Havoc 24/7 no matter if they're in or off drugs The thing is that if you compare their first gigs in the early 80s in the old clubs and their concerts up to the early nineties: the shows they're exactly the same!!! Except for the bondage pants that were replaced cuz his ass was showing 🤘. Axel got off the heavy shit as soon as they grew ( he was pissed and concerned cuz the other guys were shooting heroin on stage while they were opening for the Rolling Stones) but had the same mentality. One member was fired because he was always so high couldn't play, another left before he died, the other had an exploded internal organ ( the same that at Freddie Mercury concert had to be carried into the stage at the finale), another one was pronounced dead in the hallway but he was revived by the paramedics, the other try to go on a coma with pills. To name the more dramatic ones.... Its a f****** amazing miracle that they lasted that long. They are adored not just because of the music that they made which was extremely unique, but because they kept the same kind of punk attitude throughout the whole process: every time a manager or the record company or someone try to make the band do say or play something they didn't want to do Axel throwh a f****** rant and the band crossed their arms. no other band in history had so much power over the industry.... come on man geffen kept paying Axel for over 10 years for a record he never delivered....😅😅🤘🤘🤘🤘 the guy was being a Punk and f***** with the record company until they finally said they were not going to pay any more...then he wrapped the album... the most expensive album ever so far. they were loved and hated exactly because they were the real Punk atitude placed in a rock band. now they're making an enormous amount of money on a tour that they do with the way they want even though Fernando is a mess.....

Without watching this video, I can already answer this question. Bands hated opening for Guns and Posers because GNR were always late and the opening act could have played longer sets. yep... it's that simple.

I get why Axl was pissed at some of the bands opening for them who were shit talking them in the press while touring. Sure their opinion was valid but at the same time if you’re the big band who could choose almost any band to open your shows and you choose one of these bands because you’re a fan of their music and want to use your spotlight to get them exposure it makes sense why you’d be pissed off if that band is dogging on you. To an extent you’d think they’d be thankful for an opportunity and exposure they wouldn’t be getting otherwise even if it wasn’t perfect to their liking. Especially because none of them really point to anything the band was doing to them that was poor treatment or disrespect but rather just their dislike of the bands excess and lifestyle. I can see why the band would take issue with that and how it would feel like they’re spitting in your face when all things considered they’re benefitting from you choosing them when you had a plethora of alternative options you could have chosen instead of them. So really one of the times where Axls anger about something seems mostly fair. It’s going too far to cut their set in the middle I think but being upset seems like it would be natural here.

GNR w/ Brian May was the last concert I attended at the old Boston Garden. Someone threw a Sambuca bottle of Axle's face 3x. Of course he stormed off, but he was in Boston and at that time, the true meaning of "Boston Strong" existed. What I mean by that is...GNR would not have made it to the airport if they left the show.

I attended the Sydney concert on the 17th December. Axl called them a "faggot band" and yeah, Kings of the Sun set abruptly ended about 25 minutes into their show. The irony is Kings of the Sun sounded a bit like The Cult.

The GnR, MetallicA tour was the beginning of the end for GnR. You DO NOT send MetallicA out to play 2 or 3 hours before your band comes onstage,because the fans didn't know what just hit em. I'm sorry, you don't come out and play Paradise City, Sweet Child O Mine after For Whom The Bell Tolls, One ,Mater Of Puppets, Blackened, Seek and Destroy, Whiplash, Sad But True, and Enter Sandman. NO WAY PAL! Everyone forgot who the fuck GnR was, the fans were so tired after MetallicA they gave a shit less about Welcome to The Jungle,it's like "We just got our asses kicked in the jungle, you should have came out first and warned us!" And people may not have alot of respect for MetallicA now, but during those years, NO ONE was as dominant!

Actually he was the guy that along with his band put the punk attitude into a rock band and took over the industry. No other band on the planet has ever had so much power. They got paid for doing nothing, had their contract revised ( never ever happened before), could do whatever album whatever song they wanted exactly because of his freakish attitude. After they broke up Axel is so freaking smart that he convinced Geffen Records to continue to pay for him for over 10 years while he never delivered the record....once geffen said they would stop paying only then Axel decided to start wrapping up.... he delivered the most expensive album of all time 🤘🤘🤘😅😅😅. And its pretty good. meanwhile he kept making money with a GNR royalties and everything else and tours that he arranged. Nowadays he got the band back together for a really super mega lucrative tour. when the band broke up ( a miracle they lasted that long I mean alive), Slash/wanted to go to basic punk rock Axel wanted to expand, their junkie minds kept them from basic reasoning. Its rock n roll....metallica has similar horror stories as many other hard bands.

I saw guns and roses and Metallica when they came to play at RFK stadium faith no more open for them...and Faith No More Kick-Ass Metallica came on and they kicked ass but it took over two hours for guns and roses to come on stage and when they finally did Axl Rose was so rude to the crowd that people started leaving I left as well...what a dick
