A hypocrite always supports another hypocrite....I have seen her in person as ordiance in one of the reality shows, I have seen her arrogance and attitude for a specific community ppl. So my comments and view are based on that. So when you don't know her you better keep quite. Aasha ji is a great achiever despite so many adversities,challenges,ups and downs.... Bharat Ratna must only go to those who have contributed something significantly to India.That is people of the army,doctors and health workers,social reformers etc.An artiste sells his/her work of art and earns money in lieu of that.What is their contribution to the country?? Lata Mageshkar and Asha Bhosle are like Yin Yang, one can't be complete without the other. The Indian Cinema owes both of them for their contribution.

RD burman s palatial house in South kolkata was sold off by miss bhhosle.. And realised. Though she never married RD burman. She took full advantage of her mentor and sucked him till the end. Mind u burmans had a royal lineage.

@@bhaumik718 divorce laws only benefit women because they are harmed more. Aurat pitke bhi divorce kyu nahi leti hai because society doesn't divorced women . What u see on social media and what women suffer in real life is very different . Also divorce laws favour men only when they cheat or don't fulfill husbands responsibility. Many fmailies don't accept their daughters after divorce. She can't resume her career because of career gap due to her husband as the husband gave her house duties. She is more susceptible to harassment after divorce that's why she gets all that compensation .if the woman is working she doesn't get a single rupee.

While such "spicy" stuff may interest many a fan,we have to remember that a singer is known by her voice/ range/ technique and both OPN & RD did bring out her capabilities.We have to be thankful to the trio for giving us memorable songs.If what she did WAS wrong,did these stories about today's actresses marrying married men ( Shilpa,Mahima,Sridevi,Vidya etc) develop emotions for their husband after marriage and without exception ,have had no affair ? So today,no one makes a youtube clip.about them but we want to show another artiste in bad light. But renegrade that she is,Asha doesn't care a.damn for subtle show of " socially deviant behaviour.

There are different facets of anyone's personality. While she has a huge singing talent, her personal life decisions were devoid of character and are hugely flawed and should be a subject of criticism. Why not? @Deepak Patil - how can you club Vidya with the likes of Shilpa and Sridevi. The latter both were home wreckers while Vidya married someone who was divorced and was very much single. Shilpa and Sridevi both enjoyed and encouraged being chased by married men and finally caused their divorces. Most of us, as moviegoers, music lovers etc. cannot resist the temptation of delving into the personal lives of our favourite stars. Unfortunately it does not stop there - we start judging them, comparing with others and start bringing into play our moral compass. This is just NOT RIGHT. They are also human beings - with the same insecurities (probably more), vulnerabilities, frailities and personality shortcomings. Just leave their personal lives alone. Enjoy the talent they bring to the table - be it a song, a painting, a performance or instrument. Then we can enjoy genius without any baggage.

No matter how talented, I can never respect a greedy and unscrupulous artist. Moreover a good song is credited just as much, if not more, to the lyricst, music director, the orchestra arrangers and the movie situation. If all those were great then some other singer would have done equal or greater justice to them. The case in point is Geeta Dutt whose crisp and beautiful voice would have rendered both the seductive as well as soulful numbers just as beautifully, if not better.

No details about Himesh given. Is the trick which worked for Bhosle, OPN & RDB perhaps did not work with Himesh? Lot of details between the lines are missing. The info given above is very well known at least to people in Maharashtra. I think when SDB & RDB were not in this world but wife of SDB was very old, she seems to have organised her stay at old age home including monetary support. Her singing style was picked up from Geeta Dutt. But Asha was too good in classical too so she has good no of Marathi drama songs to her credit. OPN big mistake was he totally depended on Ashaji (could be her condition) and gradually removed Geeta Dutt, shamshad and did not record song to Lata ji and Suman Kalyanpur. Had he maintained good balance in spite of good share to Ashaji, he could have easily survived with dignity after 1972 and would not have gone down totally. Whatever may be relationship between OPN and AB he should not have left his family with very posh and huge flat near Churchgate. Earlier when she was interviewed in 80s she spoke so great about Rafi sahab but now a days she talks as if Rafi sahab is a casual singer whereas in 2 songs with him in duet AB made big blunder interchanging stanzas so that one song was dropped from film though it is very popular and can be heard many a times. Normal people do not listen so carefully it is not noticed but same is nicely highlighted in video of Beete Huye Din KK Sharma's video. Now a days wherever she is called for any program, her program starts with RDB and ends with RDB. No reference to OPN and not only OPN but even great Marathi music directors (who may not have paid her like Hindi directors) who had lion's share enhancing all her good facets and popularity.

I agree with you totally. She is a genius singer extremely versatile. And human! Thr sisters are unfair to Rafi who was an unmatched genius. Rafi fans will never forgive the two sisters for pretending that Kishore was a greater singer than Rafi. It's a plain lie. It just shows that these are half attained souls just gandharvas. They have a long way to go spiritually. Doing great charity no doubt but that is not the only criterion.

What these actors and talented celebrities do in their real lives should also be everybody's business. If someone is a very good actor but in real life he/she is destroying someone else's life, then sorry I don' give a s*** to the talent. Just focusing on talent and "nothing beyond" mentality is highly selfish and ignorant. I would go listen to someone with less talent and a good character in real life.

The title that Asha Bhonsale ditched O P Naiyar is denigrating for the great 👍 singer ! How has she suffered in her personal life is known in better authentic ways. Video needs to be revised as no one ditched either it was their situational constraints instead which made both of them suffer! This is probably wrong info. Sadhana was staying on rent on Ashaji's property for a very long time and wasn't vacating it despite many requests. What would you do if you aren't able to clinch an attractive deal of your own property just because some tenant is not vacating and also not giving proper rent? Legal step was natural. Sadhnaji kept playing victim but she wasn't legally right.
