For a guy who claims he doesn't care about anything or anyone, Whirl is a surprisingly thoughtful person when trying to encourage the people he cares about. Also: "So it's not the height difference?" "It is, in a way. He towers over me." A poignant line from Cyclonus, especially when you think about it.

Most will say the tearing open the sky part is their favorite line in this dialogue (and it is awesome and badass and heartfelt) but this one always gets me too every time I re-read it.

What I love about Cyclonus is how he chooses to think of what's better for Tailgate, not himself. At first he thought of himself as a higher being then Tailgate, but then gradually we see him in the comics soften himself and open more and more with Tailgate; leading to 1:29 where Cyclonus tells Whirl that "Tailgate deserves better", signifying that Cyclonus no longer thinks of himself and what he *wants and needs* , but of what Tailgate _wants_ and *needs* . An Enemies-to-Friends-to-Lovers indeed.

This was my favorite duo in MTMTE and Lost Light. Such havoc and badassery.

Yep! In the Lost Light continuation, Cyclonus eventually admits his love to Tailgate and they become conjunx endura. Which is basically soulmates/life partners. (I'm actually going to upload that soon when I get the chance.)
