Why Aren't Vultures as Strong as Eagles?

Why Aren't Vultures as Strong as Eagles?
Eagles and vultures are perhaps the most popular raptors in scientific studies and the eyes of animal lovers, with the former’s fame matching the latter’s infamy. But do these perceptions match reality? Are vultures simply too weak to be compared to the mighty eagle? And if so, why?
That’s exactly what we aim to find out in today’s video, so sit back, relax, and enjoy! As you know, your opinion is very important, so don't forget to share your experience in the comments! Thank you!

Actually an eagles bottom is actually called a cloaca ( the same with all birds ) the cloaca is we’re the eggs pee and poo come out off. Also bird pee is white and bird poo is black or dark brown.

This video was dedicated to scavengers and the hunters were merely highlighted

Birds of Prey (order Falconiformes) are a very large and diverse order of birds, filling many ecological niches, there are only nine extant families of birds of prey, Cariamidae (Seriemas), Sagittariidae (Secretarybird and Fossil Relatives), Aquilidae (Eagles), Accipitridae (Hawks, Buzzards, Harriers, and Kites), Pandionidae (Ospreys), Aegypiidae (Old World Vultures), Caracaridae (Caracaras), Falconidae (Falcons, Kestrels, Hobbies, and Falconets), and Cathartidae (New World Vultures), there are also extinct families of birds of prey like the well known brontornithids (family Brontornithidae), the dromornithids (family Dromornithidae), the gastornithids (family Gastornithidae), the terror birds (family Phorusrhacidae), and the teratorns (family Teratornithidae).

You should watch the channel Clint's Reptiles. He breaks down the phylogenesis of many different groups. He recently did raptors and then other birds. I found shrikes, aka butcher birds very interesting and a bit gruesome.

@bethsmith3421, birds of prey (order Falconiformes) are some of the oldest birds alive today, they belong to the superorder Palaeoaves, which surprisingly groups them with the gamebirds (order Galliformes) and waterfowl (order Anseriformes) as well as the hoatzin (Opisthocomus hoazin) of the monotypic order Opisthocomiformes, while only nine families of birds of prey still exist today being Cariamidae (Seriemas), Sagittariidae (Secretarybird and Fossil Relatives), Aquilidae (Eagles), Accipitridae (Hawks, Buzzards, Harriers, and Kites), Pandionidae (Ospreys and Fossil Relatives), Aegypiidae (Old World Vultures), Caracaridae (Caracaras), Falconidae (Falcons, Kestrels, Hobbies, Falconets, and Montanaguila), and Cathartidae (New World Vultures), many other families of birds of prey did go extinct, like the more well known extinct bird of prey families Brontornithidae, Dromornithidae, Gastornithidae, Phorusrhacidae (Terror Birds), and Teratornithidae (Teratorns).

Vultures are professional scavengers, while eagles aren't. The vultures really don't need to be as strong as the eagles do.

Surprisingly, vultures have also been known to feed on small live prey and eat eggs as well.

Vultures eat the dead. Eagles kill the living. A bit more work and skill involved.

I definitely love nature videos like this...the only thing i find annoying about them is when they try to claim evolution over creationism...like in this video saying "they decided to lose the head feathers for sanitary reasons" lol...i can PROMISE you that NO vultures EVER had head feathers and then thought "you know what, i should probably get rid of these feathers FOR SANITARY REASONS." and then proceed to not only somehow remove its own head feathers aswell as EVERY other vulture after it!!! CLEARLY an intelligent being who actually CAN think like that is the one who decided to not give tbem head feathers "for sanintary reasons"!!!!

Absolutely no one decided anything. The fittest individuals survive and pass on certain genes generation after generation until the subtle change becomes widespread. That's how evolution works. It's merely survival of the fittest. No intelligence or conscience needed.

I can't believe you don't understand evolution. Evolution does not mean the vulture plucked out its own feathers. It means that birds with less feathers on their heads were more successful and so their genes were carried forward. Probably because as they evolved as carrion eaters, more feathered species succumbed to disease from bacteria. If you are going to argue evolution VS creationism, at least educate yourself about what both really mean.
