Really surprised we don't see more players running this setup. I figured with rust rockets (Claw, Jaw, Talon) about to be nerfed, this might be a very good option for your Nether. Also are there any players out there currently running this setup? Maybe you can share your experiences with this build.

I literally Run four sheriff Magnetar’s on my nether. And it works so well.

I’ve been playing this build on and off since the buff 3-4 months ago. With the nerf of claws, this will be a built I play more regularly. Thanks for the vid Adrian

Magnetar and Pulsar are both sweet weapons. I still have in one of my hangar Khepri with Magnetar and Typhon with Pulsar. It is very effective against almost everything.

I have been using that setup for a little while now. Has been pretty effective so far

Mk12 Magnetars actually have little difference in damage as Mk12 Pulsars which are medium weapons. Those Magnetars are great.

I ran Magnetars on my Khepri when I first got it. It did great at medium to long range. Great at locking down enemy's. And I do have them on my Nether right now.

I knew this was a powerful setup but it actually is even better than I thought and also could you make a video in wich you play all the PVE stages would be really helpful

I used them since the buff and they are amazing. You can dash and burst erebus mars and other sniper/shield annoying robots from safe distance

I think I got 2 or 3 Sheriff Magnetars from the gold chest so it would be great if I get another and get a Nether from the event to replace my Skyros .

i just got a nether recently and i slapped the magnetars on it and it really works just perfect. i'd say it's even better than the spears

I currently run the Nether with tiger scatter! It works great if you play smart!

Hi Adrian, would you recommend the Kate pilot? W the +dmg on lockdown for this build? I’m currently trying to dei idea how to build my Magnetar nether. Armadillo w the wolf regenerating pilot and quantum radar, or the build you have in this video maybe w Kate O donell. What you think? Used for first robot in match so if I use armadillo I can get 24 or so defense off the bat. I really want a kiting build, to kite ochidokies

I would actually get the Nether pilot which is shown in this video instead. The reason? The next robot we're going to be getting is the Dagon. The Dagon has a very powerful Aegis Shield and the Nether with pilot is able to counter it (along with Ophion) very easily. The pilot gives Nether Shield Breaker whenever it dashes. Hope this makes sense as it can save you a ton of resources moving forward.

Qick question about the Rook titan. What do you think is the best module combination? For the defense chips I keep going back and forth with double repair amps or titan anti control. I can't seem to nail down the best combo

Do cudgels work well on nether too? Or are they not that effective. I just came back to the game a few months ago and I’m wondering if I should change my setup ( nether and 4x cudgels )

Out of the games I tested the Cudgels were what I consider "mediocre". They're "ok" but not as good as Magnetars. Hope this helps.

Shredders are also great weapons, even to this day. I personally run four of them on my blitz and that tiny machine still kills meta bots.

How do you feel about the spear weapons with the otto pilot?

I've tried it and it's "ok" but I prefer this build more. Also with Otto and Spear you have to focus on all weapons and the pilot to make it effective. With this setup you have to focus more on just the Magnetars. Paralysis helps but in all honesty if you have Beak I'm sure it's just as effective.

For Nether I would go with 3V3R3TT as this pilot gives you Shield Breaker whenever you use your ability (dash). Hope this helps!

Actually I have a Natasha but its mk2 so i have double decay and double of these weapons and its really critical

The new ksiphos weapons seem like a great match-up for me personally.

Magnetars are good but most don’t use them cause of people running anticontrol I use spears cause do some insane damage.

At this point I wouldn't run Sirius and with Minos I'd only run it if you have Vajra or Evora. Hope this helps.

I haven't tested Otto with Spear recently but I think I'd still gravitate towards Magnetars. Nether Spear works if you level up the Spears AND Otto. However you're also leaving yourself very vulnerable because if Spear was nerfed it affects both the Spear weapon and Otto. Magnetars have more range too with lockdown.

I'm running a Magnetar/Pulsar Raven that's really mean, so yeah.

Please try the scald weapons on it!!!!

I had 3 sheriff magnetars from the black market silver chest (before the prize pool changed like 5 or 6 times) Got a fourth from a 1000 key chest a month ago, then I got a nether first bronze token of the fortune palace event. I think I’ll run this build because the claws I put my resources into are gonna get nerfed hard. f2p btw lmao

Spear is actually a much newer weapon. However… often times Pixonic buffs older weapons and in some cases they outperform newer ones. Good examples of this are Glory, all the flamethrowers (they're stronger than the toxic ones), Magnetars, Pulsars, Redeemers are to name a few.

Magnetars are older weapons. You can actually build them in Workshop.

Magnetars always fired pretty fast but maybe it's because I'm using the Sheriff Magnetars I'm not sure. Sometimes when Limited Edition versions of a weapon has a different effect it gives the impression that it fires faster (when really it doesn't).

because if you aren't a good shooter you will probably don't want to use these weapons but you are one of the good shooter so... you can try it

first of all, you got your weapon upgraded to level 3 so any weapon in that level would do great damage, May be 5 % of gamers do have the luxury to upgrade their weapon and robot in that high range, it cost a lot of money.

why does Adrian's nether have 200k health, when the Nether MK3 with these mods at maximum also only reaches 150k life? What else is he using to get to this level of life?

You might want to check when the video was made. In update 9.5 the durability of Nether was nerfed down by 25% (this is according to the Wiki site). Here's the link: warrobots.fandom.com/wiki/Nether Also make sure you scroll down as it highlights the changes when it was released, what buffs/nerfs it received. That site is pretty good when looking at all bots. Hope this helps.

You have to be able to aim. The claw doesn't require any aiming.

I don't think that is the reason why. Look at what happened with Spear weapons but yet players still used them because of how much damage they did.

I run mine with spear, its not the best

Nether is actually one of the harder bots to hit with Crisis Reaper - I know since I ran Crisis Reaper for a few weeks and Nether was one of the bots I feared most. Nether, Angler, Ravana and Lynx were what killed me most times.

I've started using Skadi on my new Mars. It's surprisingly good

The answer is simple,rust rockets where promoted to extreme and no one showed any alternative . Now ... aware of the upcoming nerf , players are scrambling. Exactly same thing happened with spear , everyone migrated to rust weapons. Nether is getting a nerf also,it might not be so effective as in this video.

What makes this build strong is actually the weapons not so much the Nether. Dashing helps but when you have powerful weapons it's what should be feared. I could take these Magnetars and put them on a Khepri and it would do a ton of damage too.
