Thank YOUUU Jesus! Smh..I wouldn't even want to talk to others the way I *sometimes* talk (mainly mentally) to myself .. Like just now.. I'm with (cutrently**) someone who calls me out my name (not curse words.. just like.. ugly.. or "man" or fat.. things like this) but still, out my name.. like.. well be talking a normal talk. And outta nowhere that person would say these things.. smh so immature right? Smh like. Why? Was that necessary? Really? 😢 No it wasn't... And I said to that person "you know I can do that too - call you names.. all day.. but I don't bc I'm not like that.. I don't like to hurt peoples hearts and feelings" and then this person has the nerve to get mad and give an attitude.. I don't understand.. some people just don't have the brain capability to understand when they are wrong.. they hate ** to be wrong.. always wanna be right.. hate hearing the truth.. always has their mind in the gutter and probably most likely (definitely) fighting (or not,bc some don't even 1 realize that they have demons,2 don't even care that they do) their own demons.. so.. idk.. all I do know for a fact is some people just aint for me.. for my life.. for where God wants to take me.. but I will continue to be me.. I'm gonna forgive. And forget.. and just move on.. and be nice and respectful no matter what . And when I leave, wish them luck.. bc I know the LOVE GOD HAS FOR ME IS BIGGER THAN THEY EVEN KNOW! WHAT GOD THINKS** OF ME IS THE TOTAL OPPOSITE.. AND GOD IS HERE WITH ME.

this really hit home. i struggle with people pleasing so bad and i always have. i will sacrifice my peace, joy, happiness, boundaries, and energy at the expense of pleasing someone in a way that i’m constantly giving even when it’s draining me. i want to be freed from the shackles of people pleasing. may God give me the strength to stand firm in my boundaries.

Yeah. When you haven't learned to forgive yourself, or extend grace, or compassion to ourselves. We can't extend that to other people, and only a relationship with Christ can show you that you have those issues, and help you with those issues in Jesus name.

The fact that I am anxious and overthinks a lot, it led to the destruction of my relationship. However, I was in a relationship with a non-christian male, I think there's a reason. 😢 I am still proud of my self for clinging onto God. 🎁

This was for me… I was too hard on myself for so long. I decided to let go and give it to God. I allow God to lead my footsteps. I no longer care about being embarrassed or the opinions of others. As long as I’m fulfilled and led by God. That’s all that matters to me.

One thing I respect and love about pastor Flowers is that he makes it very clear when he's stating an opinion. He's not mixing words in with Scripture and making it sound like law.

Wow... that line about being able to admire someone else's beauty without questioning yours did it for me. Thank you for these Therapy Thursdays. It's so nice to have a place to go to unlearn what I was taught as a child and by the world, without having to continue to be influenced by those things. I need to heal and grow, but I also need the bible. I love this!

True very true. This is something I used to do when I didn't accept myself. Now I know the reason I was always alone or felt that way, it's because I was not meant to fit in to what this world offers. Now I just wish I had more spiritual connections in my life. It's hard to continue a journey alone 😔 . Though I know I'm not alone because God is with us always but I just want the physical surroundings to match what keeps me on track.

Michelle you do have the physical surroundings….. your Bible..GOD is with you physically! Hold on to that! I am here with you my Sister in Christ. It gets rough out here in these streets……yes it does! When you see everyone conforming to the ways of the world and you are not because you trust GOD! This is a lonely journey, if you think about it from your own understanding . One of my favorite scriptures, Proverbs 3:5-6, Trust in the LORD WITH ALL THINE HEART AND LEAN NOT TO YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING, in all your ways acknowledge him and he shall/will direct your path. Keep watching Pastor Flowers. Read your Bible and prayer everyday so your soul will be restored! When you make a change like this or the change happens to you I should say and you try to remain on the arrow but then it's like sin/evil/past just tried to creep in and say hey go hang with them, or hey you can do this again it's okay. And I don't want to revert backwards. Not that my friends aren't good people or nothing like that but their just not on the goal is trying to be. So when I don't have anyone I just watch pastor or other sermons but it's still not the physical environment. Yes I definitely believe God has that for us 🙏 and I trust it. We'll have it one day for sure

I will need to listen to this almost everyday so I don’t self sabotage.

Today, I was told I was not selected for a promotion for job out of state. I missed it from putting off doing some education with the Air Force for a long time, been messed up most of the day. Had to take a nap for lunch to shake it off a bit. It was a rough day, didn't want to tell my wife today because I failed my family on this. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, point blank. I pull up Jerry Flowers sermons today and what is the name of what he posts 20 MIN AGO? Ha haaaaaaaaa! Yeah. 😏
