    Women are catty with each other because most women compete each other for men and a relationship leading to marriage. Most women are jealous of each other. We all have something unique and different to offer. And like the caller said, what is for you is for you! There is no need to compete with someone else over something God has for you. If God has something for someone else, support that woman, do not be envious of her. God will give you what he has for you in his time.

    I've run into this cattiness and it absolutely makes my skin crawl. Not all women are this way and I'm one of them. I've always been to myself even as a young person and have never cared about popularity or gossip or the "in-crowd." I just didn't care and still don't as a grown woman. I do my own thing. If I can help, I'll help and move on. Spending time on such non-sense is a waste of time. When someone tries to bring this junk to me I'll quickly tell them I'm not interested in this mess and I quickly remove myself. Sometimes I don't say a word and quickly remove myself, never to be found. Take the insecurity somewhere else. Who's got time for this? I certainly don't.

How many companies are competing against each other and know about their flaws every day? What about the lions that fail hunting but stay competitive and learn through their failures and what they can do next? Competition is not bad it’s how you take it!!!!

    I’m a young teen. And one of the reasons why some of us young women & adults compete is over jealousy. Speaking for myself, I’m in high school. A lot of females in my school feel the need to compete with other females over something so stupid and petty. Sometimes this occurs because of one’s own insecurities. And I admit sometimes it’s over boys and female drama. I feel like all the women in our country no matter what race, should unite together and lift each other up. Ps: I hope everyone is staying Safe & Healthy during this time. God Bless you all❤️

    🗣🗣🗣A study showed that 80% of Women would rather have a MALE BOSS than a FEMALE BOSS!!! That says a lot!! I had a female co worker that was a narcissist and tried to get me fired and it ended up BACKFIRING on her big time!! She ended up getting FIRED and one by one her toxic friends in the workplace got fired and quit!!! Here’s a tip for hostile work environment: Document everything in the workplace and send it to your manager’s email; that way there is a paper trail!!!

    LaNeedra W. Don’t worry girl it’s jealousy and people in general take competition in a wrong way. That woman that blocked you was to weak to handle you and your presence removed her toxicity away from you with out you doing anything that is God doing the work for you. If I was that lady the first thing I will do is ask myself questions on how I can improve my well being of life and make sure I compete against myself in order to reach that level of success cause the first thing she did is compare herself and right away she took it as competition against you when she could have use it as motivation that is where competition becomes bad and unhealthy .A lot of people look at the ending but never take a look on how it takes to get a degree. There is good competition and there is bad competition a lot of women and men in this comment section think with a bad competition mentality and let their insecurities come to them when it comes to competition! I don’t. The world thrives of competition if not we would be stuck 1950 right now! Hospitals are competing against each other to find the right medical supplies for patients and it’s also a business too! the better the supplies the better the hospital! So people overtopping each other is good thing because it creates new cures but again it is how you see competition! As long as you ignore the negativity around you and that social media bs you will be fine girl!! Do your thing!

But since you turned this into a sex thing then I will call a spade a spade. Women follow these beauty standards and trends to attract men and to look attractive to other women. The beauty industry also created alot of the insecurities of women not looking good with cellulite and stretch marks. The list goes on but there's no need for you to be condescending.

    I had a so called cousin who I considered a "Bestfriend" backstabbed me for the past decade. We use to hangout alot when were very young. We became closer in middle school/ high school. In middle school she was such a good friend. Then when we went to high school she started changing and started acting like a "bad bitch". She always tried acting tough around the popular people. I noticed that once I started posting pictures on social media and got attention she became jealous. Years later through out highschool i thought i could trust her with anything. By that I mean girl things like with cute boys , gossips , and secrets. I remember this one time I got excited that a cute boy would look at me. I told my so called bestfriend about that and she than told that cute kid in class about what I said. Thinking back about this one time we were in the main hallway and I had seen the cute boy walk by me and another friend of mine, laughing at us with his group of friends. It was the most embarrassing thing ever. I confronted her asking her if she had told him and she denied it. I dont understand why females hate on each other so bad! Literally it can be your own so called family member!

    No matter what industry you work in, women are catty. I tend to be someone who focuses on doing my best for the team and for myself. I tend to be so focused on my work alone that when someone comes out of the left field with some kind of attitude or rumor, I don’t even know why this person is being that way when I haven’t even given them the time to begin with.

  • @snatched.8135

    I think there's this misconception that only women are "catty" aka competitive ... but men are competitive too. Except that for some reason it's called "dominance" and not viewed as such a bad thing. I think it's natural to want to take out the competition. It's engrained in the primal part of our brain because back in the day, thats how you survived. You either took out the competition or you didn't get to eat. However I do think that women and minorities and particular are already put in such limiting situations, that they have to work extra hard to fight that urge of competitiveness and build each other up instead of tearing each other down.

  • @as19J01
    @as19J014 жыл бұрын

    I absolutely hate this unnecessary competition amongst women and I won't hesitate to admit it to men. I had a close friend of mine that would always turn the attention towards her. When I told her how devastated I was about my boyfriend being immunocompromised, she bragged about how much her boyfriend loves her. When I opened up about us not being able to see each other for months because he is high risk, she replied "i miss him too i only see him twice a week and talk through a window for 20 minutes". When I explained that I'm not getting any income because of my asthma, she said "just go to work" but because her boyfriend is going to work with asthma she's like "omg i'm worried sick about him". When I say that I have anxiety, she doesn't help at all. When I talk about my fitness success because I have been working so hard, she just has to brag about her being an athlete. Just last night, she sent 2 photos in a groupchat posing for mirror selfies and after us not reacting, she replied "like how no one is talking about me" sarcastically. I hate people who are so narcissistic and hate seeing other people succeed! She wasn't like this before. She started acting this way once she realised that she wasn't the only one in a relationship anymore. She always has to criticise my boyfriend even though he treats me so good and has never done anything to her. She can't accept the fact that her friend is happy in her relationship. Meanwhile, every time her boyfriend doesn't speak to her for half a day, she's like "omg he's going to break up with me". She does this every other day and I'm done supporting her. All she wants is gossip, attention and compliments. She never asks how I'm feeling. I'm slowly dropping her out of my life

    Missed Loni's take on this. But it's definitely what all of you all said. When you see another person doing good, applaud. The reality is that a feeling arises sometimes saying I wish I could accomplish like that. At that point there are two roads ahead, either:who she thinks she is, I'll show her while being jealous OR you can applaud and ask God what does He have is store for you. The latter road is always better. Accomplishments are different but isn't that God's WILL though, each of us have a purpose.
