@@jiminverness I live in nyc. And we all know how that goes, but I still dont need to carry a gun, although I would like to because of my sketchy neighborhood as I have to watch my back. My previous neighborhood I would say was peaceful as I never worried walking about the neighborhood. That's my only point when the term peaceful neighborhood is used. If it's truly peaceful you would never feel you need a gun as no threat should be imminent for the vast majority of time you live there. But I guess peaceful is a relative term.

Gaza Strip and West Bank are two completely different things. Summarizing: - No Israeli presence on Gaza Strip. - Gaza Strip is ruled by Hamas, a terrorist group that came to power democratically (probably there were never elections after that). - West Bank is ruled by ANC, which is not democratic but not a ruthless dictatorship (in Spanish there make a game of words, and instead of dictadura, we call it “dictablanda”, like a soft dictatorship). - Gaza Strip is the one that makes random terrorist attacks on Israeli civilian population, almost no population crosses the line. - West Bank has Israel as its main importer, hundreds of thousands cross the frontier every day to work in Israel and West Bank has the best economy of all sorrounding arab countries. - Israel has lots of colonies in West Bank, probably because two things: they are stronger and those sucking Oslo I Accord.

In the Bible it says that God promised the land of Israel to the Jews which Christians agree on. (Not that you would know anything about something you quote)

15% of settlers in the West Bank are US citizens. The US government should require those that settle in internationally disputed territory to give up an equally sized home or equally valued asset to an American Indian. The logic there is that if you are going to take someone’s land due to your ancient ancestor’s claims to the land, you should give up your land to an American Indian family due to their ancestors’ claim to the land. That’s the only way to be morally consistent. If not, this is clear hypocrisy. The US should heavily fine or have those US citizens that settle in the West Bank’s US citizenship revoked.

And I completely agree with him, you don't know real situation in UK from media, neither in France or even USA - who dreamed Trump would be elected... Third, Hamas looks nice and friendly comparing to ISIS, and they are trying to establish in Israel (not to mention PA and Gaza) all time. Personally I believe the biggest mistake was Israel not imposing change of norms and way of life to normal citizenship, especially feeling, in Arab population. You need of course to shut incitement of main religious and political extreme leadership, otherwise most arabs don't really have or had a problem with Jews and vice versa. Would take time but possible, the land is to small for other solutions and arab population within 49' borders is too big anyway.

Nah, UK left and the zionist movement and it’s adherents were simply the strongest part left and they could form their state. The world pretty much felt they had no other choice than to acknowledge it’s legitimacy since the Palestinian part had no (realistic) chance to show they were ready to hold power in the region. The UK didn’t want to give the land to the jews, but the jews were simply better (the reason is that they spent thousands of years in Europe) and more knowing of the ‘hows’ behind gaining the world’s legitimacy for the formation of a nation state. Palestine was ruled by the Ottoman Empire since pre-modern times pretty much.

abc it isn't free housing, "government subsidized" only means less expensive. It isn't US Taxpayer aid. However, much of the West Bank Arab infrastructure, housing development, roads, etc. was build under the auspices of US Aid, straight forward from US Taxpayer pockets. I witness that. The US placed huge billboards in the road to Nablus boasting of their financial aid. This was, of course, up to the Obama administration. The program ended at the very beginning of Trump's era.

When are the 7.2 million Palestinian refugees under UN Resolution 194 (1948) allowed to return to Palestine. It's been 73 years of statelessness.

If the small kid tries to fight back, they're reprimanded for using violence and told that the situation is their fault. So please, kindly open your eyes to the situations. Palestinian's license plates are different from Israeli license plates not because Israel gives Palestinians different license plates, but simply because Israel doesn't give Palestinians license plates in the first place. Fatah / The Palestinian Authority issue driving licenses/license plates for every Palestinian living in Area A and B in the West Bank.

Between 1950-1967 Jordan occupied the West Bank area including the cities of Jericho, Bethlehem, Hebron, Nablus, and Eastern Jerusalem including the Old City. Why did the Palestinians in the West Bank accept Jordanian rule? Why are the Palestinians only complaining now for a Palestinian state? The Palestinians were offered their very own state (two state solution) by the UN in 1947 and refused it. The Palestinians don’t want a state, they just want to antagonise the Jewish people who want to live in peace.

They not only have stolen land in what constitutes Israel today but they have even stolen land in what constitutes Transjordan. (Jordan). Parts of what is today called Syria and Lebanon also belong to the Jewish people. So indeed, your question is my question. How is the Arabs stealing Jewish land okay?

They do not predate the Jewish people in the land. & even if they did, God gave us the land of Israel & He created the land so He has a right to give it to whomever He chooses. & as far as the Samaritans, they came to the land (or better put, they were forced into the land by Sanchairev) (Sargon) not long before the first Temple's destruction. Talk about outlaws!! Even by Israeli law the settlements are illegal... My grandmother was Jewish ( from my mom side)and was born in France 1932. She was sent to live with her grand parents in 1939 in what is now Algeria. Both her parents were murdered by the Nazis. She would never see them again. Till her death in 2015, she hated the Israeli government more than she hated the Nazis. Because, according to her, most of the Israelis are non religious people who have nothing to do with Judaism, and they have used the suffering of the Jewish people in the hands of the Nazis to justify their crimes against the Palestinians.

In 1964 Yasser Arafat used the name Palestinian to name de arabs Egyptian living in Gaza and the arabs Jordans living in the West Bank (that's why is called the West because it's the West of Jordan), fact that was proven in all differents version of the well documented war of the 6 days in 1967. After Israel won back those lands in the 6 days war, then in 1973 Israel decide to gives up the Sinai (including Gaza) to Egypt in an agreement for peace and also Israel give up the West Bank to Jordan in exchange for peace. After that the arabs countries followed Yasser Arafat tactics using the term Palestinian to describe the Egyptians and Jordans living in Israel as well those arabs living in the Gaza strip and the West Bank as an strategic plan to eventually conquer Israel. From an historic and tactical point of view Israel should never have given up the Sinai and the Gaza Strip to the Egyptian in 1973 and neither given up West Bank to Jordan, that way they would have avoided all these obvious problems they are currently facing, were a tactical military strategic from the arabs is now seeing from the world as an humanitarian problem. That's why when USA included Texas as a new State, all Texas and all people living in Texas were part of the new Sate and they didn't let settlement of Mexicans that eventually could be named "whatever name" for later request to fragment the country creating a humanitarian crisis requesting the creation of a new state, same thing with natives Indians, etc. If people with other beliefs or backgrounds start requesting to create a new political state withing your own country, then your country has it's day counted. As the Bible says: "a house divided will not prevail". Those Egyptian and Jordans decendents (now called Palestinian) deserve a better future, they should consider to follow and claim their rights in the capital of the country of their ancestors El Cairo, Egypt or in Amman, Jordan (in fact note that the flag they created for them is a copy of the Jordan flag). The third option is to request citizenship in Israel accepting Israel as their country and under Israeli government.

No, not only religion. there are other reasons: archeology, history, human rights, international law and many other reasons and perspectives by which the existence of a Jewish state is justified also within the borders of the released Judea and Samaria areas (which you call by the colonial name "the west bank of the Jordan"). This is a rightfully earned and owned land by the Jews by every standard.

A story of settler plantations: England tried to defeat Ireland for centuries and subdue the native population after many defeats by the Irish whom never gave in. So in the 1500's the English moved settlers into Ireland and this became known as the Plantations. The first waves of settlers from England after a period of time actually preferred the Gaelic Irish way of life. They became "more Irish than the Irish themselves". This is a famous quote in Ireland. They adopted Irish customs, played Irish sport and music and even adopted the native Irish language and names.After a defeat in the "Battle of Kinsale" 1609 in Cork the very south of Ireland the last of the ancient Gaelic chiefs of Ireland who were from Ulster in the north of Ireland had to flee or face capitulation in what was known as "The Flight of the Earls". They were welcomed into the highest courts in Europe. However their vast tracks of their land in Ulster in the north of the country were seized by the English and given to a different type of settler. They were from England and Scotland, were fiercely loyal to the English Royal family and were fiercely Protestant. The native Irish were Catholic. Today the British occupy part of northern Ireland that has a border there in a particular way so that the settlers always out number the natives so according to British democracy they vote to remain in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.The Loyalists (protestant settler) statelet of Northern Ireland was racist and bigoted and the Nationalists (native Irish) were heavily discriminated against with jobs, housing and were constantly being bullied by the local police force called the B Specials in the 1950's which was 100% Protestant Loyalist. It was a Protestant state for a protestant people and the natives were vermin to them. In the early 1960's the Nationalists (native Irish) were been burned out of their homes and attacked and many fled and camps were set up in the Republic of Ireland to house those fleeing intimidation. The Irish government even asked the UN to intervene but the UK gov would not have that. Civil rights marches started looking for equality but were banned and then attacked by the British Army killing many. Nationalists were being murdered, tortured and discriminated. The British Army was actually sent in at first to protect the Nationalists from the Loyalist settler hate mobs but the Unionist (settlers who want to maintain the union with Britain) government in Northern Ireland used the British army against the Nationalists who began to fight back.What followed is 30 years of mayhem and conflict with a period in what is known as " The Troubles" in the most militarized zone in Western EuropeThousands died, hundreds of civilians, hundreds of British troops killed, hundreds of police and paramilitaries killed on both sides. Tit for tat murders from both sides, British Army heavy handed tactics, destruction everywhere with bombing in the north of Ireland but also many bombings in England and even British Army bases in Germany being attacked and also British M15 coordinated bombings with loyalist paramilitaries in the Republic of Ireland too. So this period of the Troubles started 400 years after the settler plantations in Ireland. Even today with "peace" in the north of Ireland the two communities have to be separated with large walls and they practically never live side by side. Its a situation that will last another 400 years all because England tried to geopolitically engineer their neighbour Ireland. Millions have died and suffered because of engineered famines, wars, greed and a lust for power. Its tragic. Now I ask any settler who has read this above to try and justify the Settlements in the West Bank by removing someone from their land, actually beating them out of their homes, claiming it for their own because "God" said its their land and humiliating them in the process and do they really expect peace in the long term.The most powerful army in the world will not keep the Palestinian thirst for justice and freedom down. You cannot expect to get away with what youse have done to your neighbour, the planet is watching and is well aware of the many horrific war crmes. And to call those who question your deeds "anti-semetic" is an insult to those who were murdered by the Nazi scum in the Holocaust because the survivors would be horrified if they seen what the IDF do on a regular basis, in fact some survivors have spoke outIt will take centuries perhaps and we will not see it in our life time but as sure as night follows day karma will most definitely deliver and you will reap what you sow. SHANE O' Maolmhuaidh Unfair comparison Shane. The West Bank has Syrian and Jordanian Arabs occupying it, making untrue claims. The Irish of Ireland on the other hand, have always been Irish (well, long enough that noone alive disputes that). The English never claimed it was English land, they just wanted to control it, the same as most countries that conquer bits of other lands over the centuries.
