We already moved two years back and now it seems we never been to UK as i stopped comparing both countries( clean streets, hygiene,, NHS, rules, pound, women indepandance, traffic rules etc). Eventually you get use to and start liking it when you don't have to share equal responsibility with your husband like case in UK and have stress free life.

You are covering the most important topic just take the basic concept of migration. Why people opt for migration takes Maslow's theory Safety & security, Free Air and shelter. So if one is going to Europe and other western countries if you are taking your family you can prevent 1 or 2 generations but you would not having control after that besides if you are singly going the risk is more. As i given you my family example my brother went to US in 1967 he married to a Pakistani girl then 3 kids were born so they religiously raised their kids but afterwhile kids as they getting young they least care for their parents and slowly not coming to their house and left parents. So things are not controlling on your hands but the kids who decide for their fate. So you will face largely this problem when one is getting old and realized the situation.

Thanks for your appreciation. In essence parents have to be on top when it comes to home work etc anyways so an element of home schooling exists there. I am aware of online tuitions so maybe in that context something can be arranged. Otherwise you would have to get in touch with some of the schools to see if they offer home schooling or not ( during the days of lockdown they went online and I did see an option saying that "those who do full online modules are required to ...." but I am not sure if it was just a lockdown thing or not

I could not imagine when I was un USA that my own relatives, blood brother/sisters/parents would behave the way they are now. We, who have lived in western societies for years got used to telling the truth, speaking our minds...which is not acceptable. I can understand your situation and the best way to tackle this is to go with the flow of the river, don't try to swim against the flow of the river. Adjust with the people and listen to them and try to understand their view about life. Tolerance is what lacks in our society and within us. We just need to understand that not everyone look at the world and it affairs from our point of view. We cannot impose our idea on people and neither can we allow other people to impose their ideas and way of life on us. Patience is the key to all your issues brother. I can understand your frustrations as I have been through it myself. Remember one thing no matter how bad you think people of Pakistan are, it's far better then people in UK who drinks, party and are atheists and have no family values and are just living their life to earn money. Brother you should be happy that you are not part of the Big mechanism anymore and just get closer to Allah and the Quran. Allah is the provider not UK or America or any other country and we are in this world for a Test and in which if we succeed by following the guidance of Allah and our prophet (PBUH) then we will have a far better life then any of those foreign countries which only polluting us and our children. Just remember there is a hereafter and that life will be forever. Pakistan was founded for a sole reason that we don't loose our identities as Muslims by living among the non Muslims and people who have sacrificed their whole lives to get that freedom from the British were a whole lot more wiser then us to make that decision. My advice is to stay in Pakistan and in Sha Allah you will not regret your decision as you get older. Temptations will always be there because that's what the devil is good at and is always trying to misguide us. May Allah protect us all.

Many are 1st Generation in the sense that they themselves ,like me , went there for work/education and settled until naturalization. That is a question which has many variables 🙂. The age one retires at is the first one followed by responsibly of how many individuals during retirement..plus the fact that how will Pakistan do in terms of exchange rate during the retirement days...for a retired couple these days I would imagine £1000 pcm should be sufficient assuming they rent in a good area.. assuming a retirement age of 67 and say they live up to 100 the figure amounts to 33 x 12 x 1000 ~ £396k.. ofcourse a better strategy would be to invest that in a house in the UK and the live of the rent for example...👍

My friends used to smoke sheesha but i ever did so its a person to person thing. If u stay in a good company there will be no need to worry. One thing more do not put them in party schools like roots. They dont have a school culture. Rest, if you believe in your upbringing they wont take that road of using drugs etc

We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, and believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, and unbelieving, & abominable, and murderers, and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone..." Please sincerely receive Holy Jesus and put your true faith and trust in Him today and please repent.

That depends on which area one lives in. Every country has all kinds of people and that is also the case with the UK. There are nice, educated and humble people you will find. But you will also find arrogant and racist people. I have had experience of interacting with both sets. But in general there is a lot of awareness and education about discouraging racism which is one of the great things about UK society.
