It was quieter than an electric toothbrush and only as "loud" as light rain or a library (at 500 feet/closest houses). Whispering (at the houses "thousands" of feet away). If anyone lost sleep it wasn't because the concert was audible, it's because they made a dysfunctionally maladaptive choice to make a mountain out of an ant hill. 😒

Typically during the exact same hours, until around midnight. Taylor Swift fans AREN'T as loud as Wrestlemania fans. And certainly not as loud as the NFL stadium's NFL fans 😂 And unlike Taylor Swift's visit? Those events *don't* give LA's economy the over $300 million boost (half in wages) she generated. Nothing out of the ordinary in Seattle - Lumen Field is just the second loudest stadium in the U.S. 😂 It's even louder when the Seahawks play. 🙄🤣

New York Post (I know bad reference, but only real estimate I could get) reports anywhere from 50-500 staffers are hired for each concert. Let's say we hire 250 people for every concert for all 146 shows (personally believe this is about right) that leads us to 36,500 people hired. Now let's split that 55 million dollar bonus between just the staffers nobody else. Staffers don't include backup dancers, sound crew, or anything similar to that. That means we have the average person being given just $1500. It's a nice bonus, but is it really as good of a bonus as you thought it was? Why do we allow the rich to get richer and why don't we force them to pay their employees a livable wage. It's also important to note that all of what I said doesn't even include the people who are working every single show like the truckers. I read those people got the majority of the bonus, but that just means the short term employees got paid close to minimum wage then got probably $200 then didn't have a job anymore.

Here in India, you have to get a permit to play loud music past 10pm, because it causes a disturbance. I'm not sure if the same rule applies in the US, but even if it does, I wonder if it would still be valid it the noise is literally shaking houses🤔

I've only seen this brought up a couple times but there are small children whose sleep schedules could be changed (and not for the better) as the concert was on 6 days in a row up until midnight. Also it's mainly used as a stadium so most other things happen during the day when people aren't sleeping so the noise matters less then.

@leah_w- for sound to physically travel that far and still be heard clearly, lyrics, treble. Etc. It would be unsafe to listen to from within a couple hundred feet. It would deafen anyone within that space. Literally deafen. They're getting at most the small sound of some bass reverb.

All those dollars from taxes and jobs provided is pretty sweet for that city. Sounds like success. I hear Taylor donates to charities there, too. Enjoy this moment in time. Here's a thought: Have the concert start earlier so it's over before 10pm so the people around the stadium don't have to complain! Starting a concert earlier like that really doesn't work for one important reason: people work. If you start a concert too early in the afternoon, people won't have time to get home from work and then to the venue. Especially if they don't live close to the venue. Which would lead to loss in ticket sales.

It’ll be an even bigger ‘compliment’ when she has to pay for reconstruction of a whole neighborhood and therapy for the children who thought they were in an earthquake.
