Why are new apartments so expensive?! We ALL know who to blame (probably)
So many new apartments are being built that are way too expensive. After experiencing 3 years living in a new built apartment, we realised that we can't afford to move to another newish apartment.

If furnished all the furniture and whatever contents are bought at cost. Rents are a rip off in Ireland.

Of course, hundreds of apartments, could easily have a huge discount or specially made furniture that's the same brandname but cheaper for them.
Added to not everyone being able to use the ammenities most ppl are too busy working to be able to afford the apartment to use them as well.

That is so true. Heard someone comment that they're angry they have to pay for an amenity 'service charge' when they can't even use the gym because they've got no time, they're working overtime to afford the latest rent increase.
There are NO Elevators in Ireland though, none lol There ARE lifts though

What would one expect to pay in rent for a 2 bed 1 bath flat in blackrock off Mount Merrion Ave?

From the top of my head, I'd expect over 2,500 - 2,700 Euros.
