I'm pretty sure it's a similar looking jug, that has a secret compartment that people stored poison in to kill another person whilst using the same jug. you could switch between the two compartments by putting your finger over a hole that would stop the flow of the main one and pour from the secret one!

Eh, y'all don't have kids or something and have never heard of all the various sorts of bottle brushes and things available for cleaning those as well as all sorts of specialty kitchen items too. They make flexible brushes for cleaning that would work perfectly fine for this. Special items require special care, nothing too difficult.

This concept is exactly what mechanics are aware of when flushing coolant systems. Sure gets trapped and has to be vacuumed out. This perfectly illustrates the trapped bubble.
